Federal agency has now acquired enough bullets to wage 30 year
An Indiana sheriff has defended the large scale transference of military
equipment into the hands of law enforcement nationwide, declaring that cops need gear previously used in Iraq and
Afghanistan because America is now a battlefield.
Recently there have been a spate of reports documenting the trend of the Department of Defense and the Department of
Homeland Security outfitting America’s local police departments with military equipment such as bomb proof
vehicles, body armour, and machine guns.
An article in the New York Times this week, notes that “police departments have received tens of
thousands of machine guns; nearly 200,000 ammunition magazines; thousands of pieces of camouflage and
night-vision equipment; and hundreds of silencers, armored cars and aircraft.”
In Indiana, Pulaski County Sheriff Michael Gayer
told reporters that “The United States of America has become a war zone.” The Sheriff
has received much media attention lately following his department’s acquisition of a Mine Resistant Ambush
Protected (MRAP) vehicle via what has clearly become a militarization program emanating out of the Pentagon,
with the approval of the federal government.
“It’s a lot more intimidating than a Dodge.” Sheriff Gayer noted regarding the MRAP.
Just exactly why Pulaski County needs to intimidate anyone is left unexplained. As noted in the Indianapolis
Star report, Pulaski County is a farming community with just 13,124 residents. In 2012, the County experienced only
11 incidents of theft, and just 17 property crimes. There was 1 murder, however it is unlikely that a mine
resistant vehicle would have prevented this, nor is it clear why the other $5,000,000.00 worth of military equipment purchased under Sheriff Gayer would be
The Sheriff firmly believes all of it is necessary.
“There’s violence in the workplace, there’s violence in schools and there’s violence in the streets,” said Gayer.
“You are seeing police departments going to a semi-military format because of the threats we have to counteract. If
driving a military vehicle is going to protect officers, then that’s what I’m going to do.”
Writing on the department’s website, Gayer notes “With the threat of homeland terrorism, rising violence in our schools,
drug and alcohol abuse, our society and freedoms that we so dearly cherish are being challenged.”
Except, of course, there has not been one single instance of terrorism in the county, and pointing bayonets at
drunks and drug abusers probably doesn’t get to the crux of the problem.
Quite clearly Gayer believes that he is engaged in some kind of war with his own citizens, or other American
citizens coming into his county. Indeed, in the Indianapolis suburbs, officers said they needed a mine-resistant
vehicle to protect against a possible attack by veterans returning from war.
“You have a lot of people who are coming out of the military that have the ability and knowledge to build
I.E.D.’s and to defeat law enforcement techniques,” Sgt. Dan Downing of the Morgan County Sheriff’s Department told
the local Fox affiliate, referring to improvised explosive devices, or homemade bombs.
Is the same attitude and belief held by other law enforcement departments across the nation?
The figures suggest it is. The NY Times notes that “Since 2006, the police in six states have received magazines
that carry 100 rounds of M-16 ammunition, allowing officers to fire continuously for three times longer than
normal. Twenty-two states obtained equipment to detect buried land mines.”
If this isn’t a clear indication of the build up of a militarized police state then what exactly is?

UN Accelerates Plan For Global Gun
Confiscation After Collapse United Nations hiring 'disarmament,
demobilization and reintegration' officers
The United Nations is gearing up for gun
confiscation in the event of a societal collapse in numerous countries by hiring “disarmament, demobilization and
reintegration” officers who will be trained to seize guns “from the civilian population.”
A posting on the
United Nations Career Opportunities page announces a vacancy for the position of “Disarmament,
Demobilization and Reintegration Officer” under the UN’s Department of Peacekeeping Operations based out of New

We know they have been planning it for years, and the documents are legion. Now they are
preparing to go operational.
The UN’s page on DDR operations explains what role the DDR officer
will be expected to undertake;
Disarmament is the collection, documentation, control and disposal of
small arms, ammunition, explosives and light and heavy weapons from combatants and often from the civilian
Demobilization is the formal and controlled discharge of active
combatants from armed forces and groups, including a phase of “reinsertion” which provides short-term
assistance to ex-combatants.
Reintegration is the process by which ex-combatants acquire civilian
status and gain sustainable employment and income. It is a political, social and economic process with an open
time-frame, primarily taking place in communities at the local level.
The objective of the DDR process is to contribute to security and stability in post-conflict
environments so that recovery and development can begin. DDR helps create an enabling environment for political
and peace processes by dealing with security problem that arises when ex-combatants are trying to adjust to
normal life, during the vital transition period from conflict to peace and development.
Although the posting prompted feverish speculation that the UN was about to embark on a mass gun
confiscation program within the United States, it’s important to note that the DDR program is only currently active
in countries like the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ivory Coast and Haiti.
However, concerns are understandable given the acceleration in anti-Second Amendment rhetoric and
executive action on behalf of the Obama administration since the 2012 Sandy Hook massacre.

of martial law. And just as we saw during Hurricane Katrina, when the U.S. Constitution has been suspended gun
confiscation is soon to follow.”
Since the 1990′s, Alex Jones and Infowars reporters have attended numerous urban warfare training
drills inside the United States, many of which included exercises based around disarming American citizens. Foreign
troops were also present at many of these drills.
Infowars first became aware of this story a week ago having been contacted by active duty military
officials who saw the advertisement before it was posted publicly and we are currently working on a deeper angle
that promises to provide further insight.
For anyone who still doubts that domestic gun confiscation would be plausible in the aftermath of a
catastrophe, watch the short documentary below which highlights how authorities exploited Hurricane Katrina to
seize firearms, including those belonging to residents who weren’t even affected by the disaster.

Building Domestic Army

Ad targeting AOL email users demands Palin retract
Paul Joseph Watson
March 13, 2013
A prominent Democratic Party lobby group
is targeting users of AOL’s email service with ads demanding they sign a petition calling on Sarah Palin to retract
“dangerous rhetoric” about the federal government stockpiling ammunitionin
preparation for civil unrest.
Anti-Palin ad. Image: YouTube
The ad, which can be seen in the video clip
above and appears after users send an email, was paid for by the Democratic Governors
Association (DGA), a lobbying organization which represents governors affiliated with the Democratic Party and
was instrumental in Bill Clinton’s 1992 presidential victory. Many former DGA staff members have gone on to hold
prominent positions within the government.
“If we are going to wet our proverbial pants over 0.3% in annual spending cuts when we’re running
up trillion dollar annual deficits, then we’re done, wrote Palin. “Put a fork in us. We’re finished.
We’re going to default eventually and that’s why the feds are stockpiling bullets in case of civil unrest.”
Left-leaning websites reacted to Palin’s
remarks by claiming she had regurgitated a debunked “conspiracy theory.” However, despite admitting that
the DHS had purchased huge quantities of bullets, the source for the “debunking” was a single quote by a DHS
official downplaying the whole issue.
A February 14 Associated Press
report which featured the quote and an explanation that the bullets were bought in bulk to save money and
were merely for training purposes only has been widely derided as inaccurate.
As former Marine Richard Mason told reporters with WHPTV
News in Pennsylvania last week, hollow point bullets (which make up the majority of the DHS purchases) are
not used for training because they are more expensive than standard firing range rounds.
“We never trained with hollow points, we didn’t even see hollow points my entire four and a half
years in the Marine Corps,” Mason said.
Despite concerns about why the DHS is buying such huge quantities of bullets being perfectly
legitimate – prompting
Forbes Magazine to call for a “national conversation” on the matter earlier this week – the DGA
advertisement calls on Palin to “renounce her extremist comments.”
The full text from the page with a link for
people to sign the petition reads;
Sarah Palin recently declared that the United States Federal Government is “stockpiling
bullets” to use against Americans.
Accusing our government of actively stockpiling weapons to use against its own people is not
only offensive and wrong — it’s downright dangerous. For Sarah Palin to insinuate that the United States is
similar to the tyrannical governments in Syria and Iran who do carry out those types of atrocities is
Enough! Use the form on the right to stand with the Democratic Governor’s Association and
demand that Sarah Palin apologize for her outrageous comments.
The fact that a lobby group with direct ties to the Democratic Party is demanding Palin be treated
like a thought criminal merely for drawing attention to the fact that the DHS is clearly preparing for civil unrest
(the federal agency purchased “riot
gear” for that very purpose just before the presidential election), highlights how sensitive the
establishment is about Americans learning of the arms build-up currently being overseen by the federal
While Americans are seeing their second amendment rights targeted by the Obama administration, the
feds are simultaneously buying up enough bullets to wage a 20 year-plus war.
No matter how many times the establishment media and Democratic Party mouthpieces attempt to
dismiss concerns about this by erroneously labeling it as a “conspiracy theory,” the fact remains that it is a very
real issue and a genuine concern to millions of Americans who have been denounced by the DHS in its
own reports as potential terrorists if they are “suspicious of centralized federal authority,” or
“reverent of individual liberty.”
