An independent agency of the United States government responsible for collecting and
coordinating intelligence and counterintelligence activities abroad in the national interest; headed by the
Director of Central Intelligence under the supervision of the President and National Security Council...There has
been considerable criticism of the CIA relating to security and counterintelligence failures, failures in
intelligence analysis, human rights concerns, external investigations and document releases, influencing public
opinion and law enforcement, drug trafficking, and lying to Congress. In 1987, the former CIA Station Chief in
Angola in 1976, John Stockwell, said the CIA is responsible for tens of thousands of covert actions and
destablization programs since it was created by Congress with the passage of the National Security Act of 1947.
At the time, Stockwell estimated that over 6 million people had died in CIA covert
actions.

Korean people I am sure are a lovely people and would love to see him go as well."

Chapter 5. Korea 1945-1953
Was it all that it appeared to be?
To die for an idea; it is unquestionably noble. But how much nobler it would be if men died for
ideas that were true. - H L Mencken, 1919
Excerpts
How is it that the Korean War escaped the
protests which surrounded the war in Vietnam? Everything we've come to love and cherish about
Vietnam had its forerunner in Korea; the support of a corrupt tyranny, the atrocities, the napalm,
the mass slaughter of civilians, the cities and villages laid to waste, the calculated management
of the news, the sabotaging of peace talks. But the American people were convinced that the war in
Korea was an unambiguous case of one country invading another without provocation. A case of the
bad guys attacking the good guys who were being saved by the even better guys; none of the
historical, political and moral uncertainty that was the dilemma of Vietnam. The Korean War was
seen to have begun in a specific manner: North Korea attacked South Korea in the early morning of
25 June 1950; while Vietnam ... no one seemed to know how it all began, or when, or why.
And there was little in the way of accusations about American "imperialism" in Korea. The United
States, after all, was fighting as part of a United Nations Army. What was there to protest about?
And of course there was McCarthyism, so prevalent in the early 1950s, which further served to
inhibit protest.
There were, in fact, rather different interpretations to be made of what the war was all about,
how it was being conducted, even how it began, but these quickly succumbed to the heat of war
fever.
[Bold Emphasis Added]
...Throughout the war, a continuous barrage of accusations was leveled by each
side at the other, charging the enemy with engaging in all manner of barbarity and atrocity,
against troops, prisoners of war, and civilians alike, in every part of the country (each side
occupied the other's territory at times), trying to outdo each other in a verbal war of
superlatives almost as heated as the combat. In the United States this produced a body of popular
myths, not unlike those emerging from other wars which are widely supported at home.
(By contrast, during the Vietnam War the
inclination of myths to flourish was regularly countered by numerous educated protestors who
carefully researched the origins of the war, monitored its conduct, and publicized studies
sharply at variance with the official version(s), eventually influencing the mass media to do
the same.)
There was, for example, the consensus that the brutality of the war in Korea must be laid
overwhelmingly on the doorstep of the North Koreans. The Koch'ang Incident mentioned above may be
relevant to providing some counterbalance to this belief. Referring to theincident, the British
Korea scholar Jon Halliday observed:
"This account not only serves to indicate the level of political violence employed by the UN
side, but also confers inherent plausibility on DPRK [North Korea] and Southern opposition
accusations of atrocities and mass executions by the UN forces and Rhee officials during the
occupation of the DPRK in late 1950. After all, if civilians could be mowed down in the South on
suspicion of aiding (not even being) guerrillas - what about the North, where millions could
reasonably be assumed to be Communists, or political militants? {35} (Emphasis in original.)
Oh's account is but one of a number of reports of slaughter carried out by the South Koreans
against their own people during the war. The New York Times reported a "wave of [South Korean]
Government executions in Seoul" in December 1950. {36} Rene Cut forth, a ncorrespondent for the BBC
in Korea, later wrote of "the shooting without trial of civilians, designated by the police as
'communist'. These executions were done, usually at dawn, on any patch of waste ground where you
could dig a trench and line up a row of prisoners in front of it". {37} And Gregory Henderson, a US
diplomat who served seven years in Korea in the 1940s and 1950s, has stated that "probably over
100,000 were killed without any trial whatsoever" by Rhee's forces in the South during the war.
{38} Following some of the massacres of civilians in the South, the Rhee government turned around
and attributed them to Northern troops.
One way in which the United States contributed directly to the war's brutality was by
introducing a weapon which, although used in the last stage of World War II, and in Greece, was new
to almost all observers and participants in Korea. It was called napalm. Here is one description of
its effect from the New York Times.
"A napalm raid hit the village three or four days ago when the Chinese were holding up the
advance, and nowhere in the village have they buried the dead because there is nobody left to do so
... The inhabitants throughout the village and in the fields were caught and killed and kept the
exact postures they had held when the napalm struck - a man about to get on his bicycle, fifty boys
and girls playing in an orphanage, a housewife strangely unmarked, holding in her hand a page torn
from a Sears-Roebuck catalogue crayoned at Mail Order No 3,811,294 for a $2.98 "bewitching bed
jacket - coral". There must be almost two hundred dead in the tiny hamlet." {39}
The United States may also have waged germ warfare against North Korea and China, as was
discussed earlier in the chapter on China.
At the same time, the CIA reportedly was targeting a single individual for termination - North
Korean leader Kim II Sung. Washington sent a Cherokee Indian, code-named Buffalo, to Hans V Tofte,
a CIA officer stationed in Japan, after Buffalo had agreed to serve as Kim II Sung's assassin.
Buffalo was to receive a considerable amount of money if his mission succeeded. It obviously did
not, and nothing further has been revealed about the incident. {40}
...Once upon a time, the United States fought a great civil war in which the North
attempted to reunite the divided country through military force. Did Korea or China or any other
foreign power send in an army to slaughter Americans, charging Lincoln with
aggression?
Why did the United States choose to wage full-scale war in Korea? Only a year earlier, in 1949,
in the Arab-Israeli fighting in Palestine and in the India-Pakistani war over Kashmir, the United
Nations, with American support, had intervened to mediate an armistice, not to send in an army to
take sides and expand the fighting. And both these conflicts were less in the nature of a civil war
than was the case in Korea. If the US/UN response had been the same in these earlier cases,
Palestine and Kashmir might have wound up as the scorched-earth desert that was Korea's fate. What
saved them, what kept the US armed forces out, was no more than the absence of a communist side to
the conflict.
William Blum, author, historian and critic of
U.S. foreign policy, who died last week at the age of 85, was smeared by the New York Times in their obituaries
section. The headline read "William Blum, U.S. Policy Critic Cited by bin Laden, Dies at 85" -- this alone tell us
everything we need to know, not only about the enormous impact Blum's life and work had on this world, but also the
depths that gutter journalism at news organizations like the NYT will sink to attack people who dare to speak truth
to power.

Part 1 - The Company
This film takes a very informative and provocative look into the illegal and covert operations of
the Central Intelligence Agency (C.I.A.). It lays out the historical foundations of the modern
surveillance state.
This 5-part documentary is a great expose on the national surveillance state that
has arisen over the last 50-100 years. Manipulating elections, overthrowing foreign governments,
and secret assassinations are just a few of the heinous acts committed in the name of national
security. Now that Edward Snowden has blown the lid off of the NSA's Prism snooping program, this
film series is even more important and relevant.
The Iran-Contra affair provides the public with their first glimpse of the secret
National Security State, leading on from the Watergate scandal in the 1970s. This episode examines
the history of organised crime networks--Mafia's and gangs--to show the close relationship between
them and secret intelligence agencies, as well as the creation of paramilitaries tied to executive
arms of the United States government. With these criminal networks trafficking drugs and weapons,
the programme goes on to investigate how the 'War on Drugs' was instigated to actually serve as
further protection of the established criminal networks--the perfect cover for more intervention
around all parts of the globe, though especially throughout South America. The subsequent attacks
on whistleblowers are also documented...

Part 3: The Strategy of Tension
The Strategy of Tension examines the history of false flag operations used for war,
propaganda and psychological operations--or 'psy-ops.' Operation Northwoods and Operation Gladio
are examples used to illustrate the nature of clandestine operation planning and execution; as well
as shedding light on the intent and extent to which the National Security apparatus manipulates
events and manufactures outcomes to suit its goals. This programme also looks at the issues that
spin off from the history of false flag operations--such as how conspiracy theories are used to
discredit inquiry and investigative journalism; and also how the cultural preconditions around
dismissing false flag operations serve to protect their continuation and 'plausible
deniability.'

THE PRAETORIAN GUARD: John ''Bob'' R. Stockwell
- former CIA case officer (1979) -
The United States Marine Corps (USMC) Major (Ret.) John R. Stockwell, former CIA case officer
and former CIA Angola Station Chief who served 12 years in CIA introduces the documentary made about him by Academy
Award-winning filmmaker Saul Landau. The movie has been shown in several film festivals around the world and on TV
in many countries; but the U.S. networks, including PBS, refused to show it. Consequently, our showing provides its
American premiere. Next, we look at segments of three weeks' coverage by the TV networks of the situation
concerning the Russian troops in Cuba, interspersed with John's comments. Finally, John gives his evaluation of
Cuba, having recently visited there three times, and his arguments against the CIA. The program was designated
"tonight's highlight" by the Austin American-Statesman and evoked much discussion. During his career in CIA -- John
was also high ranking member of United States National Security Council (NSC).
John R. Stockwell served 7 tours of duties in: Ivory Coast (1966-1967), Zaire (1967-1969),
Burundi (1969-1972), Vietnam (1973-1975), Angola (1975-1976).
John R.
Stockwell is a former CIA officer who became a critic of United States government policies after serving in the
Agency for thirteen years serving seven tours of duty. After managing U.S. involvement in the Angolan Civil War as
Chief of the Angola Task Force during its 1975 covert operations, he resigned and wrote In Search of Enemies, a
book which remains the only detailed, insider's account of a major CIA "covert action."As a Marine, Stockwell was a
CIA paramilitary intelligence case officer in three wars: the Congo Crisis, the Vietnam War, and the Angolan War of
Independence. His military rank is Major. Beginning his career in 1964, Stockwell spent six years in Africa, Chief
of Base in the Katanga during the Bob Denard invasion in 1968, then Chief of Station in Bujumbura, Burundi in 1970,
before being transferred to Vietnam to oversee intelligence operations in the Tay Ninh province and was awarded the
CIA Medal of Merit for keeping his post open until the last days of the fall of Saigon in 1975. In December 1976 he
resigned from the CIA, citing deep concerns for the methods and results of CIA paramilitary operations in third
world countries and testified before Congressional committees. Two years later, he wrote the exposé In Search of
Enemies, about that experience and its broader implications. He claimed that the CIA was counterproductive to
national security, and that its "secret wars" provided no benefit for the United States. The CIA, he stated, had
singled out the MPLA to be an enemy in Angola despite the fact that the MPLA wanted relations with the United
States and had not committed a single act of aggression against the United States. In 1978 he appeared on the
popular American television program 60 Minutes, claiming that CIA Director William Colby and National Security
Advisor Henry Kissinger had systematically lied to Congress about the CIA's operations.
This book explains the intricate, intense,
and often unjustified involvement of the CIA in many parts of the world, through thousands of covert operations,
which, according to the book and other sources, have ended the lifes of millions of people. It describes secret and
obscure operations, some of which entailed the killing of people by the thousands at Angola, and others such as the
one which overthrew the first democratic government in Guatemala, and the creation of the infamous "death squads"
in that country and El Salvador, to murder civilians and seed terror among the people. All orchestrated by our CIA,
apparently in the name of national interests. I will not say much about this, because I urge you to read the book,
but many of these operations were bloody, bloody, bloody, and they were emphatically denied at official briefings
to the Congress, which, needless to say, is a felony.
Stockwell goes deep, and he surely has bases to do it. He is the highest rank CIA official ever to go public. And
even though this book has been censored, you still can get pretty much information from it. You will realize that
most of the time, the CIA hasn't really had fair motives to carry out the operations. The real interests behind all
of it are completely different from the picture that we get from the news and the official reports from our
government. Reading this one will make you end up with a sad feeling after having been shown the bitterness of
reality. It will make you wonder about which has been our true government, and you will want to ask if all our
"liberties" and "freedoms" have been paid at the cost of millions of innocent children, women, and men from all
over the world.
A lecture by John Stockwell given in December, 1989 on the inner workings of the national
security council and the CIA's covert actions in Angola, Central America and Vietnam.
John Stockwell is the highest-ranking CIA official ever to leave the agency and go public. He ran a CIA
intelligence-gathering post in Vietnam, was the task-force commander of the CIA's secret war in Angola in 1975 and
1976, and was awarded the Medal of Merit before he resigned. Stockwell's book In Search of Enemies, published by
W.W. Norton 1978, is an international best-seller.

Project MKUltra is the code name of a U.S. government covert human research operation
experimenting in the behavioral engineering of humans (mind
control) through the CIA'sScientific Intelligence Division. The
program began in the early 1950s, was officially sanctioned in 1953, was reduced in scope in 1964, further
curtailed in 1967 and officially halted in 1973.[1] The
program engaged in many illegal activities;[2][3][4] in
particular it used unwitting U.S. and Canadian citizens as its test subjects, which led to controversy
regarding its legitimacy.[2](p74)[5][6][7] MKUltra
involved the use of many methodologies to manipulate people's mental states and alter brain functions,
including the surreptitious administration of drugs (especially LSD) and other chemicals, hypnosis, sensory deprivation, isolation, verbal and sexual abuse, as well as various forms of torture.[8]
The scope of Project MKUltra was broad, with research undertaken at 80 institutions, including 44 colleges and
universities, as well as hospitals, prisons and pharmaceutical companies.[9] The
CIA operated through these institutions using front organizations, although sometimes top
officials at these institutions were aware of the CIA's involvement.[10] As
the Supreme Court later noted,
MKULTRA was:
concerned with "the research and development of chemical, biological, and radiological materials capable of
employment in clandestine operations to control human behavior." The program consisted of some 149 subprojects
which the Agency contracted out to various universities, research foundations, and similar institutions. At
least 80 institutions and 185 private researchers participated. Because the Agency funded MKULTRA indirectly,
many of the participating individuals were unaware that they were dealing with the Agency.[11]
Project MKUltra was first brought to public attention in 1975 by the Church Committee of the U.S. Congress, and a Gerald Ford commission to investigate CIA
activities within the United States. Investigative efforts were hampered by the fact that CIA Director
Richard Helms ordered all MKUltra files destroyed in
1973; the Church Committee and Rockefeller Commission investigations relied on the sworn testimony of direct
participants and on the relatively small number of documents that survived Helms' destruction order.[12]
In 1977, a Freedom of Information
Act request uncovered a cache of 20,000 documents relating to project MKUltra, which led to Senate
hearings later that same year.[2] In
July 2001 some surviving information regarding MKUltra was officially declassified.

CIA Mind Control Research Human Experiments in the USA
Dr. Nick Begich The Technologies of Mind
Control
This is the century of the brain and the mind. The technologies that have advanced, under
cover of secrecy and national security, now have the power to either enslave us or free us to our higher
potentials. These technologies will impact our consciousness itself and, as a result, require an invigorated public
debate in the light of day. At the same time, there is hope and great possibility in these areas of science. The
first part of this book deals with the sinister side of controlling the human mind with the second part exploring
the possibilities that are emerging with new brain and mind enhancing technologies. The greatest threats and the
greatest possibilities reside within the core of who we are and what happens in the center of our minds, the seat
of our souls. This is the most important book yet released from the research efforts of Dr. Nick Begich.

The Open MKULTRA Drugging of James
Holmes
Alex talks with Jon Rappoport about the alleged assassin James Holmes, mind control, the CIA and
MKULTRA. http://www.nomorefakenews.com/
I bring up this interview now, because James Holmes may well be on the receiving end of MKULTRA, as his lawyers try
to navigate an insanity plea in the Aurora massacre case.
Holmes will be given "truth drugs" to "refresh his memory" about his state of mind at the time of the killings. If
that sounds absurd, it is. I wrote a piece the other day detailing how such drugs are often given to produce
extreme terror in patients. In other words, the drugs don't elicit the truth. They're used as threats to force the
patient/suspect to confess to whatever his torturers want him to confess to.
John Marks related the following facts to me. He had filed many Freedom of Information (FOIA) requests to the CIA
for documents relating to their mind-control program. He got nothing back. http://jonrappoport.wordpress.com/201...
Here is a bit of US history that shows the reach of the
CIA’s infamous mind-control program, MKULTRA.
During the 1940s and 50s, it was common knowledge that musicians who were busted for drug use were
shipped, or volunteered to go, to Lexington, Kentucky. Lex was the first Narcotics Farm and US Health Dept. drug
treatment hospital in the US.
According to diverse sources, here’s a partial list of the reported “hundreds”
of jazz musicians who went to Lex: Red Rodney, Sonny Rollins, Chet Baker, Sonny Stitt, Howard McGhee, Elvin
Jones, Zoot Sims, Lee Morgan, Tadd Dameron, Stan Levey, Jackie McLean.
It’s also reported that Ray Charles was there, and William Burroughs, Peter Lorre, and Sammy Davis, Jr.
It was supposed to be a rehab center. A place for drying out.
But it was something else too. Lex was used by the CIA as one of its MKULTRA centers for experimentation on
inmates.
The doctor in charge of this mind control program was Harris Isbell. Ironically, Isbell was, at the same time, a
member of the FDA’s Advisory Committee on the Abuse of Depressant and Stimulant Drugs.
Isbell gave LSD and other psychedelics to inmates at Lex.
At Sandoz labs in Switzerland, Dr. Albert Hofmann, the discoverer of LSD, also synthesized psilocybin from magic
mushrooms. The CIA got some of this new synthetic from Hofmann and gave it to Isbell so he could try it out on
inmates at Lex.
MKULTRA was a CIA program whose goal was to control minds…in part through the use of drugs.
Isbell worked at Lex from the 1940s through 1963. It is reported that in one experiment, Isbell gave LSD to 7
inmates for 77 consecutive days. At 4 times the normal dosage. That is a chemical hammer of incredible
proportions.
To induce inmates to join this drug experiment, they were offered the drug of their choice, which in many cases
was heroin. So at a facility dedicated to drying out and rehabbing addicts, addicts were subjected to MKULTRA
experiments and THEN a re-establishment of their former habit.
Apparently as many as 800 different drugs were sent to Isbell by the CIA or CIA fronts to use on patients at
Lex. Two of the fronts? The US Navy and the US National Institute of Mental Health.
In another MKULTRA experiment at Lex, nine men were strapped down on tables. They were injected with psilocybin.
Lights were beamed at their eyes–a typical mind control component.
During Isbell’s tenure, no one knows how many separate experiments he ran on the inmates. No one knows what
other mind-control programming he attempted to insert along with the drugs.
As I say, Lex was the main stop for drying out for NY jazz musicians. How many of them were taken into these
MKULTRA programs?
As Martin Lee explains in his book, Acid Dreams, “It became an open secret…that if the [heroin] supply got tight
[on the street], you could always commit yourself to Lexington, where heroin and morphine were doled out as payment
if you volunteered for Isbell’s whacky drug experiments. (Small wonder Lexington had a return rate of 90%.)”
A June 15, 1999, Counterpunch article by Alexander Cockburn and Jeffrey St. Clair, “CIA’s Sidney Gottlieb:
Pusher, Assassin & Pimp— US Official Poisoner Dies,” contains these quotes on Dr. Isbell:
“Gottlieb also funded the experiments of Dr. Harris Isbell. Isbell ran the Center for Addiction Research in
Lexington, Kentucky. Passing through Isbell’s center was a captive group of human guinea pigs in the form of a
steady stream of black heroin addicts. More than 800 different chemical compounds were shipped from Gottlieb to
Lexington for testing on Isbell’s patients.
“Perhaps the most infamous experiment came when Isbell gave LSD to seven black men for seventy-seven straight
days. Isbell’s research notes indicates that he gave the men ‘quadruple’ the ‘normal’ dosages. The doctor marveled
at the men’s apparent tolerance to these remarkable amounts of LSD. Isbell wrote in his notes that ‘this type of
behavior is to be expected in patients of this type.’
“In other Gottlieb-funded experiment at the Center, Isbell had nine black males strapped to tables, injected
them with psylocybin, inserted rectal thermometers, had lights shown in their eyes to measure pupil dilation and
had their joints whacked to test neural reactions.”

Ron Paul and a Timeline of
CIA Crimes and Atrocities
Kurt Nimmo
Infowars.com
January 21, 2010
A video of Ron Paul calling out the CIA at the
Campaign for Liberty Regional Conference in Atlanta, Georgia, earlier this week has gone viral on the internet. In
the video, Paul declared the CIA “runs everything” and is the dark force behind illegal invasions and occupations
around the world. He said we need to get rid of the agency.
The CIA has committed thousands of illegal and immoral
acts around the world, including almost unfathomable mass murder and countless acts of terrorism and torture.
“The CIA and the big corporations were, in my experience, in step with each other,” writes former CIA agent
John Stockwell. “the CIA had been running thousands of operations over the years… there have
been about 3,000 major covert operations and over 10,000 minor operations… all designed to disrupt, destabilize,
or modify the activities of other countries… But they are all illegal and they all disrupt the normal
functioning, often the democratic functioning, of other societies.”
The late Steve Kangas (who allegedly committed suicide in a 39th floor bathroom at One Oxford Center, Pittsburgh,
Pennsylvania, immediately outside the offices of foundations run by known CIA operative Richard Mellon Scaife) compiled in the 1990s the following disturbing list of
CIA crimes around the world:
1929
The culture we lost — Secretary of State Henry Stimson refuses to endorse a code-breaking operation, saying,
“Gentlemen do not read each other’s mail.”
1941
COI created — In preparation for World War II, President Roosevelt creates the Office of Coordinator of
Information (COI). General William “Wild Bill” Donovan heads the new intelligence service.
1942
OSS created — Roosevelt restructures COI into something more suitable for covert action, the Office of Strategic
Services (OSS). Donovan recruits so many of the nation’s rich and powerful that eventually people joke that “OSS”
stands for “Oh, so social!” or “Oh, such snobs!”
1943
Italy — Donovan recruits the Catholic Church in Rome to be the center of Anglo-American spy operations in
Fascist Italy. This would prove to be one of America’s most enduring intelligence alliances in the Cold War.
1945
OSS is abolished — The remaining American information agencies cease covert actions and return to harmless
information gathering and analysis.
Operation PAPERCLIP – While other American agencies are hunting down Nazi war criminals for arrest, the U.S.
intelligence community is smuggling them into America, unpunished, for their use against the Soviets. The most
important of these is Reinhard Gehlen, Hitler’s master spy who had built up an intelligence network in the Soviet
Union. With full U.S. blessing, he creates the “Gehlen Organization,” a band of refugee Nazi spies who reactivate
their networks in Russia. These include SS intelligence officers Alfred Six and Emil Augsburg (who massacred Jews
in the Holocaust), Klaus Barbie (the “Butcher of Lyon”), Otto von Bolschwing (the Holocaust mastermind who worked
with Eichmann) and SS Colonel Otto Skorzeny (a personal friend of Hitler’s). The Gehlen Organization supplies the
U.S. with its only intelligence on the Soviet Union for the next ten years, serving as a bridge between the
abolishment of the OSS and the creation of the CIA. However, much of the “intelligence” the former Nazis provide is
bogus. Gehlen inflates Soviet military capabilities at a time when Russia is still rebuilding its devastated
society, in order to inflate his own importance to the Americans (who might otherwise punish him). In 1948, Gehlen
almost convinces the Americans that war is imminent, and the West should make a preemptive strike. In the 50s he
produces a fictitious “missile gap.” To make matters worse, the Russians have thoroughly penetrated the Gehlen
Organization with double agents, undermining the very American security that Gehlen was supposed to protect.
COCAINE AND THE CIA
1947
Greece — President Truman requests military aid to Greece to support right-wing forces fighting communist
rebels. For the rest of the Cold War, Washington and the CIA will back notorious Greek leaders with deplorable
human rights records.
CIA created — President Truman signs the National Security Act of 1947, creating the Central Intelligence Agency
and National Security Council. The CIA is accountable to the president through the NSC — there is no democratic or
congressional oversight. Its charter allows the CIA to “perform such other functions and duties… as the National
Security Council may from time to time direct.” This loophole opens the door to covert action and dirty tricks.
1948
Covert-action wing created — The CIA recreates a covert action wing, innocuously called the Office of Policy
Coordination, led by Wall Street lawyer Frank Wisner. According to its secret charter, its responsibilities include
“propaganda, economic warfare, preventive direct action, including sabotage, antisabotage, demolition and
evacuation procedures; subversion against hostile states, including assistance to underground resistance groups,
and support of indigenous anti-communist elements in threatened countries of the free world.”
Italy — The CIA corrupts democratic elections in Italy, where Italian communists threaten to win the elections.
The CIA buys votes, broadcasts propaganda, threatens and beats up opposition leaders, and infiltrates and disrupts
their organizations. It works — the communists are defeated.
1949
Radio Free Europe — The CIA creates its first major propaganda outlet, Radio Free Europe. Over the next several
decades, its broadcasts are so blatantly false that for a time it is considered illegal to publish transcripts of
them in the U.S.
Late 40s
Operation MOCKINGBIRD — The CIA begins recruiting American news organizations and journalists to become spies
and disseminators of propaganda. The effort is headed by Frank Wisner, Allan Dulles, Richard Helms and Philip
Graham. Graham is publisher of The Washington Post, which becomes a major CIA player. Eventually, the CIA’s media
assets will include ABC, NBC, CBS, Time, Newsweek, Associated Press, United Press International, Reuters, Hearst
Newspapers, Scripps-Howard, Copley News Service and more. By the CIA’s own admission, at least 25 organizations and
400 journalists will become CIA assets.
1953
Iran – CIA overthrows the democratically elected Mohammed Mossadegh in a military coup, after he threatened to
nationalize British oil. The CIA replaces him with a dictator, the Shah of Iran, whose secret police, SAVAK, is as
brutal as the Gestapo.
Operation MK-ULTRA — Inspired by North Korea’s brainwashing program, the CIA begins experiments on mind control.
The most notorious part of this project involves giving LSD and other drugs to American subjects without their
knowledge or against their will, causing several to commit suicide. However, the operation involves far more than
this. Funded in part by the Rockefeller and Ford foundations, research includes propaganda, brainwashing, public
relations, advertising, hypnosis, and other forms of suggestion.
1954
Guatemala — CIA overthrows the democratically elected Jacob Arbenz in a military coup. Arbenz has threatened to
nationalize the Rockefeller-owned United Fruit Company, in which CIA Director Allen Dulles also owns stock. Arbenz
is replaced with a series of right-wing dictators whose bloodthirsty policies will kill over 100,000 Guatemalans in
the next 40 years.
1954-1958
North Vietnam — CIA officer Edward Lansdale spends four years trying to overthrow the communist government of
North Vietnam, using all the usual dirty tricks. The CIA also attempts to legitimize a tyrannical puppet regime in
South Vietnam, headed by Ngo Dinh Diem. These efforts fail to win the hearts and minds of the South Vietnamese
because the Diem government is opposed to true democracy, land reform and poverty reduction measures. The CIA’s
continuing failure results in escalating American intervention, culminating in the Vietnam War.
1956
Hungary — Radio Free Europe incites Hungary to revolt by broadcasting Khruschev’s Secret Speech, in which he
denounced Stalin. It also hints that American aid will help the Hungarians fight. This aid fails to materialize as
Hungarians launch a doomed armed revolt, which only invites a major Soviet invasion. The conflict kills 7,000
Soviets and 30,000 Hungarians.
1957-1973
Laos — The CIA carries out approximately one coup per year trying to nullify Laos’ democratic elections. The
problem is the Pathet Lao, a leftist group with enough popular support to be a member of any coalition government.
In the late 50s, the CIA even creates an “Armee Clandestine” of Asian mercenaries to attack the Pathet Lao. After
the CIA’s army suffers numerous defeats, the U.S. starts bombing, dropping more bombs on Laos than all the U.S.
bombs dropped in World War II. A quarter of all Laotians will eventually become refugees, many living in caves.
1959
Haiti — The U.S. military helps “Papa Doc” Duvalier become dictator of Haiti. He creates his own private police
force, the “Tonton Macoutes,” who terrorize the population with machetes. They will kill over 100,000 during the
Duvalier family reign. The U.S. does not protest their dismal human rights record.
1961
The Bay of Pigs — The CIA sends 1,500 Cuban exiles to invade Castro’s Cuba. But “Operation Mongoose” fails, due
to poor planning, security and backing. The planners had imagined that the invasion will spark a popular uprising
against Castro -– which never happens. A promised American air strike also never occurs. This is the CIA’s first
public setback, causing President Kennedy to fire CIA Director Allen Dulles.
Dominican Republic — The CIA assassinates Rafael Trujillo, a murderous dictator Washington has supported since
1930. Trujillo’s business interests have grown so large (about 60 percent of the economy) that they have begun
competing with American business interests.
Ecuador — The CIA-backed military forces the democratically elected President Jose Velasco to resign. Vice
President Carlos Arosemana replaces him; the CIA fills the now vacant vice presidency with its own man.
Congo (Zaire) — The CIA assassinates the democratically elected Patrice Lumumba. However, public support for
Lumumba’s politics runs so high that the CIA cannot clearly install his opponents in power. Four years of political
turmoil follow.
1963
Dominican Republic — The CIA overthrows the democratically elected Juan Bosch in a military coup. The CIA
installs a repressive, right-wing junta.
Ecuador — A CIA-backed military coup overthrows President Arosemana, whose independent (not socialist) policies
have become unacceptable to Washington. A military junta assumes command, cancels the 1964 elections, and begins
abusing human rights.
1964
Brazil — A CIA-backed military coup overthrows the democratically elected government of Joao Goulart. The junta
that replaces it will, in the next two decades, become one of the most bloodthirsty in history. General Castelo
Branco will create Latin America’s first death squads, or bands of secret police who hunt down “communists” for
torture, interrogation and murder. Often these “communists” are no more than Branco’s political opponents. Later it
is revealed that the CIA trains the death squads.
1965
Indonesia — The CIA overthrows the democratically elected Sukarno with a military coup. The CIA has been trying
to eliminate Sukarno since 1957, using everything from attempted assassination to sexual intrigue, for nothing more
than his declaring neutrality in the Cold War. His successor, General Suharto, will massacre between 500,000 to 1
million civilians accused of being “communist.” The CIA supplies the names of countless suspects.
Dominican Republic — A popular rebellion breaks out, promising to reinstall Juan Bosch as the country’s elected
leader. The revolution is crushed when U.S. Marines land to uphold the military regime by force. The CIA directs
everything behind the scenes.
Greece — With the CIA’s backing, the king removes George Papandreous as prime minister. Papandreous has failed
to vigorously support U.S. interests in Greece.
Congo (Zaire) — A CIA-backed military coup installs Mobutu Sese Seko as dictator. The hated and repressive
Mobutu exploits his desperately poor country for billions.
1966
The Ramparts Affair — The radical magazine Ramparts begins a series of unprecedented anti-CIA articles. Among
their scoops: the CIA has paid the University of Michigan $25 million dollars to hire “professors” to train South
Vietnamese students in covert police methods. MIT and other universities have received similar payments. Ramparts
also reveals that the National Students’ Association is a CIA front. Students are sometimes recruited through
blackmail and bribery, including draft deferments.
1967
Greece — A CIA-backed military coup overthrows the government two days before the elections. The favorite to win
was George Papandreous, the liberal candidate. During the next six years, the “reign of the colonels” — backed by
the CIA — will usher in the widespread use of torture and murder against political opponents. When a Greek
ambassador objects to President Johnson about U.S. plans for Cypress, Johnson tells him: “Fuck your parliament and
your constitution.”
Operation PHEONIX — The CIA helps South Vietnamese agents identify and then murder alleged Viet Cong leaders
operating in South Vietnamese villages. According to a 1971 congressional report, this operation killed about
20,000 “Viet Cong.”
1968
Operation CHAOS — The CIA has been illegally spying on American citizens since 1959, but with Operation CHAOS,
President Johnson dramatically boosts the effort. CIA agents go undercover as student radicals to spy on and
disrupt campus organizations protesting the Vietnam War. They are searching for Russian instigators, which they
never find. CHAOS will eventually spy on 7,000 individuals and 1,000 organizations.
Bolivia — A CIA-organized military operation captures legendary guerilla Che Guevara. The CIA wants to keep him
alive for interrogation, but the Bolivian government executes him to prevent worldwide calls for clemency.
1969
Uruguay — The notorious CIA torturer Dan Mitrione arrives in Uruguay, a country torn with political strife.
Whereas right-wing forces previously used torture only as a last resort, Mitrione convinces them to use it as a
routine, widespread practice. “The precise pain, in the precise place, in the precise amount, for the desired
effect,” is his motto. The torture techniques he teaches to the death squads rival the Nazis’. He eventually
becomes so feared that revolutionaries will kidnap and murder him a year later.
1970
Cambodia — The CIA overthrows Prince Sahounek, who is highly popular among Cambodians for keeping them out of
the Vietnam War. He is replaced by CIA puppet Lon Nol, who immediately throws Cambodian troops into battle. This
unpopular move strengthens once minor opposition parties like the Khmer Rouge, which achieves power in 1975 and
massacres millions of its own people.
1971
Bolivia — After half a decade of CIA-inspired political turmoil, a CIA-backed military coup overthrows the
leftist President Juan Torres. In the next two years, dictator Hugo Banzer will have over 2,000 political opponents
arrested without trial, then tortured, raped and executed.
Haiti — “Papa Doc” Duvalier dies, leaving his 19-year old son “Baby Doc” Duvalier the dictator of Haiti. His son
continues his bloody reign with full knowledge of the CIA.
1972
The Case-Zablocki Act — Congress passes an act requiring congressional review of executive agreements. In
theory, this should make CIA operations more accountable. In fact, it is only marginally effective.
Cambodia — Congress votes to cut off CIA funds for its secret war in Cambodia.
Wagergate Break-in — President Nixon sends in a team of burglars to wiretap Democratic offices at Watergate. The
team members have extensive CIA histories, including James McCord, E. Howard Hunt and five of the Cuban burglars.
They work for the Committee to Reelect the President (CREEP), which does dirty work like disrupting Democratic
campaigns and laundering Nixon’s illegal campaign contributions. CREEP’s activities are funded and organized by
another CIA front, the Mullen Company.
John Stockwell: The CIA’s “Third World War.”
1973
Chile — The CIA overthrows and assassinates Salvador Allende, Latin America’s first democratically elected
socialist leader. The problems begin when Allende nationalizes American-owned firms in Chile. ITT offers the CIA $1
million for a coup (reportedly refused). The CIA replaces Allende with General Augusto Pinochet, who will torture
and murder thousands of his own countrymen in a crackdown on labor leaders and the political left.
CIA begins internal investigations — William Colby, the Deputy Director for Operations, orders all CIA personnel
to report any and all illegal activities they know about. This information is later reported to Congress.
Watergate Scandal — The CIA’s main collaborating newspaper in America, The Washington Post, reports Nixon’s
crimes long before any other newspaper takes up the subject. The two reporters, Woodward and Bernstein, make almost
no mention of the CIA’s many fingerprints all over the scandal. It is later revealed that Woodward was a Naval
intelligence briefer to the White House, and knows many important intelligence figures, including General Alexander
Haig. His main source, “Deep Throat,” is probably one of those.
CIA Director Helms Fired — President Nixon fires CIA Director Richard Helms for failing to help cover up the
Watergate scandal. Helms and Nixon have always disliked each other. The new CIA director is William Colby, who is
relatively more open to CIA reform.
1974
CHAOS exposed — Pulitzer prize winning journalist Seymour Hersh publishes a story about Operation CHAOS, the
domestic surveillance and infiltration of anti-war and civil rights groups in the U.S. The story sparks national
outrage.
Angleton fired — Congress holds hearings on the illegal domestic spying efforts of James Jesus Angleton, the
CIA’s chief of counterintelligence. His efforts included mail-opening campaigns and secret surveillance of war
protesters. The hearings result in his dismissal from the CIA.
House clears CIA in Watergate — The House of Representatives clears the CIA of any complicity in Nixon’s
Watergate break-in.
The Hughes Ryan Act — Congress passes an amendment requiring the president to report nonintelligence CIA
operations to the relevant congressional committees in a timely fashion.
1975
Australia — The CIA helps topple the democratically elected, left-leaning government of Prime Minister Edward
Whitlam. The CIA does this by giving an ultimatum to its Governor-General, John Kerr. Kerr, a longtime CIA
collaborator, exercises his constitutional right to dissolve the Whitlam government. The Governor-General is a
largely ceremonial position appointed by the Queen; the Prime Minister is democratically elected. The use of this
archaic and never-used law stuns the nation.
Angola — Eager to demonstrate American military resolve after its defeat in Vietnam, Henry Kissinger launches a
CIA-backed war in Angola. Contrary to Kissinger’s assertions, Angola is a country of little strategic importance
and not seriously threatened by communism. The CIA backs the brutal leader of UNITAS, Jonas Savimbi. This polarizes
Angolan politics and drives his opponents into the arms of Cuba and the Soviet Union for survival. Congress will
cut off funds in 1976, but the CIA is able to run the war off the books until 1984, when funding is legalized
again. This entirely pointless war kills over 300,000 Angolans.
“The CIA and the Cult of Intelligence” — Victor Marchetti and John Marks publish this whistle-blowing history of
CIA crimes and abuses. Marchetti has spent 14 years in the CIA, eventually becoming an executive assistant to the
Deputy Director of Intelligence. Marks has spent five years as an intelligence official in the State
Department.
“Inside the Company” — Philip Agee publishes a diary of his life inside the CIA. Agee has worked in covert
operations in Latin America during the 60s, and details the crimes in which he took part.
Congress investigates CIA wrong-doing — Public outrage compels Congress to hold hearings on CIA crimes. Senator
Frank Church heads the Senate investigation (“The Church Committee”), and Representative Otis Pike heads the House
investigation. (Despite a 98 percent incumbency reelection rate, both Church and Pike are defeated in the next
elections.) The investigations lead to a number of reforms intended to increase the CIA’s accountability to
Congress, including the creation of a standing Senate committee on intelligence. However, the reforms prove
ineffective, as the Iran/Contra scandal will show. It turns out the CIA can control, deal with or sidestep Congress
with ease.
The Rockefeller Commission — In an attempt to reduce the damage done by the Church Committee, President Ford
creates the “Rockefeller Commission” to whitewash CIA history and propose toothless reforms. The commission’s
namesake, Vice President Nelson Rockefeller, is himself a major CIA figure. Five of the commission’s eight members
are also members of the Council on Foreign Relations, a CIA-dominated organization.
1979
Iran — The CIA fails to predict the fall of the Shah of Iran, a longtime CIA puppet, and the rise of Muslim
fundamentalists who are furious at the CIA’s backing of SAVAK, the Shah’s bloodthirsty secret police. In revenge,
the Muslims take 52 Americans hostage in the U.S. embassy in Tehran.
Afghanistan — The Soviets invade Afghanistan. The CIA immediately begins supplying arms to any faction willing
to fight the occupying Soviets. Such indiscriminate arming means that when the Soviets leave Afghanistan, civil war
will erupt. Also, fanatical Muslim extremists now possess state-of-the-art weaponry. One of these is Sheik Abdel
Rahman, who will become involved in the World Trade Center bombing in New York.
El Salvador — An idealistic group of young military officers, repulsed by the massacre of the poor, overthrows
the right-wing government. However, the U.S. compels the inexperienced officers to include many of the old guard in
key positions in their new government. Soon, things are back to “normal” — the military government is repressing
and killing poor civilian protesters. Many of the young military and civilian reformers, finding themselves
powerless, resign in disgust.
Nicaragua — Anastasios Samoza II, the CIA-backed dictator, falls. The Marxist Sandinistas take over government,
and they are initially popular because of their commitment to land and anti-poverty reform. Samoza had a murderous
and hated personal army called the National Guard. Remnants of the Guard will become the Contras, who fight a
CIA-backed guerilla war against the Sandinista government throughout the 1980s.
1980
El Salvador — The Archbishop of San Salvador, Oscar Romero, pleads with President Carter “Christian to
Christian” to stop aiding the military government slaughtering his people. Carter refuses. Shortly afterwards,
right-wing leader Roberto D’Aubuisson has Romero shot through the heart while saying Mass. The country soon
dissolves into civil war, with the peasants in the hills fighting against the military government. The CIA and U.S.
Armed Forces supply the government with overwhelming military and intelligence superiority. CIA-trained death
squads roam the countryside, committing atrocities like that of El Mazote in 1982, where they massacre between 700
and 1000 men, women and children. By 1992, some 63,000 Salvadorans will be killed.
1981
Iran/Contra Begins — The CIA begins selling arms to Iran at high prices, using the profits to arm the Contras
fighting the Sandinista government in Nicaragua. President Reagan vows that the Sandinistas will be “pressured”
until “they say ‘uncle.’” The CIA’s Freedom Fighter’s Manual disbursed to the Contras includes instruction on
economic sabotage, propaganda, extortion, bribery, blackmail, interrogation, torture, murder and political
assassination.
1983
Honduras — The CIA gives Honduran military officers the Human Resource Exploitation Training Manual – 1983,
which teaches how to torture people. Honduras’ notorious “Battalion 316″ then uses these techniques, with the CIA’s
full knowledge, on thousands of leftist dissidents. At least 184 are murdered.
1984
The Boland Amendment — The last of a series of Boland Amendments is passed. These amendments have reduced CIA
aid to the Contras; the last one cuts it off completely. However, CIA Director William Casey is already prepared to
“hand off” the operation to Colonel Oliver North, who illegally continues supplying the Contras through the CIA’s
informal, secret, and self-financing network. This includes “humanitarian aid” donated by Adolph Coors and William
Simon, and military aid funded by Iranian arms sales.
1986
Eugene Hasenfus — Nicaragua shoots down a C-123 transport plane carrying military supplies to the Contras. The
lone survivor, Eugene Hasenfus, turns out to be a CIA employee, as are the two dead pilots. The airplane belongs to
Southern Air Transport, a CIA front. The incident makes a mockery of President Reagan’s claims that the CIA is not
illegally arming the Contras.
Iran/Contra Scandal — Although the details have long been known, the Iran/Contra scandal finally captures the
media’s attention in 1986. Congress holds hearings, and several key figures (like Oliver North) lie under oath to
protect the intelligence community. CIA Director William Casey dies of brain cancer before Congress can question
him. All reforms enacted by Congress after the scandal are purely cosmetic.
Haiti — Rising popular revolt in Haiti means that “Baby Doc” Duvalier will remain “President for Life” only if
he has a short one. The U.S., which hates instability in a puppet country, flies the despotic Duvalier to the South
of France for a comfortable retirement. The CIA then rigs the upcoming elections in favor of another right-wing
military strongman. However, violence keeps the country in political turmoil for another four years. The CIA tries
to strengthen the military by creating the National Intelligence Service (SIN), which suppresses popular revolt
through torture and assassination.
1989
Panama — The U.S. invades Panama to overthrow a dictator of its own making, General Manuel Noriega. Noriega has
been on the CIA’s payroll since 1966, and has been transporting drugs with the CIA’s knowledge since 1972. By the
late 80s, Noriega’s growing independence and intransigence have angered Washington… so out he goes.
1990
Haiti — Competing against 10 comparatively wealthy candidates, leftist priest Jean-Bertrand Aristide captures 68
percent of the vote. After only eight months in power, however, the CIA-backed military deposes him. More military
dictators brutalize the country, as thousands of Haitian refugees escape the turmoil in barely seaworthy boats. As
popular opinion calls for Aristide’s return, the CIA begins a disinformation campaign painting the courageous
priest as mentally unstable.
1991
The Gulf War — The U.S. liberates Kuwait from Iraq. But Iraq’s dictator, Saddam Hussein, is another creature of
the CIA. With U.S. encouragement, Hussein invaded Iran in 1980. During this costly eight-year war, the CIA built up
Hussein’s forces with sophisticated arms, intelligence, training and financial backing. This cemented Hussein’s
power at home, allowing him to crush the many internal rebellions that erupted from time to time, sometimes with
poison gas. It also gave him all the military might he needed to conduct further adventurism — in Kuwait, for
example.
The Fall of the Soviet Union — The CIA fails to predict this most important event of the Cold War. This suggests
that it has been so busy undermining governments that it hasn’t been doing its primary job: gathering and analyzing
information. The fall of the Soviet Union also robs the CIA of its reason for existence: fighting communism. This
leads some to accuse the CIA of intentionally failing to predict the downfall of the Soviet Union. Curiously, the
intelligence community’s budget is not significantly reduced after the demise of communism.
1992
Economic Espionage — In the years following the end of the Cold War, the CIA is increasingly used for economic
espionage. This involves stealing the technological secrets of competing foreign companies and giving them to
American ones. Given the CIA’s clear preference for dirty tricks over mere information gathering, the possibility
of serious criminal behavior is very great indeed.
1993
Haiti — The chaos in Haiti grows so bad that President Clinton has no choice but to remove the Haitian military
dictator, Raoul Cedras, on threat of U.S. invasion. The U.S. occupiers do not arrest Haiti’s military leaders for
crimes against humanity, but instead ensure their safety and rich retirements. Aristide is returned to power only
after being forced to accept an agenda favorable to the country’s ruling class.
Trump Regime Launches Coup in Venezuela:
Here's What You Need to Know
Daniel McAdams of the Ron Paul Liberty Report and RonPaulInstitute.org joins us today to discuss
the turmoil taking place in Venezuela, where a US-backed coup is once again taking place. We discuss the roots of
the current crisis, how and why Trump and the neocons are involving themselves, and what anti-war activists need to
do to confront this latest round of propaganda for imperial interventionism.
Troops Protect Government Drug
Dealing!
The US military is in Afghanistan for two reasons. First to restore
and control the world’s largest supply of opium for the world heroin markets and to use the drugs as a geopolitical
weapon against opponents, especially Russia. That control of the Afghan drug market is essential for the liquidity
of the bankrupt and corrupt Wall Street financial mafia. ...The second reason the US military remains in
Afghanistan long after the world has forgotten even who the mysterious Osama bin Laden and his alleged Al Qaeda terrorist organization is or even if they exist, is as a pretext to
build a permanent US military strike force with a series of
permanent US airbases across Afghanistan. The aim of those bases is not to eradicate any Al Qaeda cells that may have survived in the caves of Tora Bora,
or to eradicate a mythical “Taliban” which at this point according to eyewitness
reports is made up overwhelmingly of local ordinary Afghanis fighting to rid their land once more of occupier
armies as they did in the 1980’s against the Russians.
New documents released by the CIA show how the agency worked with some of the country’s
largest newspapers to destroy San Jose Mercury News’ Gary Webb, a journalist who famously exposed the CIA’s
connection to the cocaine trade in the “Dark Alliance” investigation.http://www.infowars.com/cia-admits-to... https://firstlook.org/theintercept/
The Truth Behind The Film Kill The Messenger And Gary
Webb
Published on Oct 17, 2014
Alex Jones reviews the latest film 'Kill The Messenger' and explains his real life
interactions with Gary Webb whom the film is based on. How the producers and director told the truth about how
the CIA and our government suppressed the real story of their misdeeds and corruption in the sixties, seventies
and still Today.
Dark Alliance: The CIA, the Contras, and the Cocaine
Explosion
In July 1995, San Jose Mercury-News reporter
Gary Webb found the Big One--the blockbuster story every journalist secretly dreams about--without even looking
for it. A simple phone call concerning an unexceptional pending drug trial turned into a massive conspiracy
involving the Nicaraguan Contra rebels, L.A. and Bay Area crack cocaine dealers, and the Central Intelligence
Agency. For several years during the 1980s, Webb discovered, Contra elements shuttled thousands of tons of
cocaine into the United States, with the profits going toward the funding of Contra rebels attempting a
counterrevolution in their Nicaraguan homeland. Even more chilling, Webb quickly realized, was that the massive
drug-dealing operation had the implicit approval--and occasional outright support--of the CIA, the very
organization entrusted to prevent illegal drugs from being brought into the United States.
Within the pages of Dark Alliance, Webb produces a massive amount of evidence that suggests that
such a scenario did take place, and more disturbing evidence that the powers that be that allowed such an
alliance are still determined to ruthlessly guard their secrets. Webb's research is impeccable--names, dates,
places, and dollar amounts gather and mount with every page, eventually building a towering wall of evidence in
support of his theories. After the original series of articles ran in the Mercury-News in late 1996, both Webb
and his paper were so severely criticized by political commentators, government officials, and other members of
the press that his own newspaper decided it best not to stand behind the series, in effect apologizing for the
assertions and disavowing his work. Webb quit the paper in disgust in November 1997. His book serves as both a
complex memoir of the time of the Contras and an indictment of the current state of America's press; Dark
Alliance is as necessary and valuable as it is horrifying and grim. --Tjames Madison --This text refers to an

The Senate Select Committee to Study Governmental Operations with Respect to Intelligence
Activities, known as the "Church Committee" after its chairman Frank Church, conducted a wide-ranging investigation
of the intelligence agencies in the post-Watergate period.
The Church Committee took public and private testimony from hundreds of people, collected
huge volumes of files from the FBI, CIA, NSA, IRS, and many other federal agencies, and issued 14 reports in 1975
and 1976. Since the passage of the JFK Assassination Records Collection Act in 1992, over 50,000 pages of Church
Committee records have been declassified and made available to the public. These files contain testimony and
information on U.S. attempts to assassinate foreign leaders, on the Church Committee's investigation of the
intelligence agencies' response to the JFK assassination, and related topics.
Also available is the report of the Rockefeller Commission, which preceded the Church
Committee and issued a brief report on CIA activities within the U.S.
These 14 published reports of the Church Committee
contain a wealth of information on the formation, operation, and abuses of U.S. intelligence agencies. They were
published in 1975 and 1976, after which recommendations for reform were debated in the Congress and in some cases
carried out.
The Interim Report documents the Church Committee's findings on U.S. involvement in
attempts to assassinate foreign leaders, particularly Patrice Lumumba of the Congo, Cuba's Fidel Castro, Rafael
Trujillo of the Dominican Republic, the Diem brothers of Vietnam, and General Rene Schneider of Chile. It also
contains findings on the development of a general "Executive Action" capability by the CIA.
The remaining reports are split into 7 volumes of public hearings and exhibits and 6 books
which contain the Committee's writings on the various topics investigated. These 14 reports are the most extensive
review of intelligence activities ever made public.
Tuskegee Syphilis
Experiment
The Deadly Deception - 1993 Rare Documentary
Documented Experiments From The Past
Conducted By The US Government
1931 Dr. Cornelius Rhoads, under the auspices of the Rockefeller Institute for Medical
Investigations, infects human subjects with cancer cells. He later goes on to establish the U.S. Army Biological
Warfare facilities in Maryland, Utah, and Panama, and is named to the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission. While there,
he begins a series of radiation exposure experiments on American soldiers and civilian hospital
patients.
1932 The Tuskegee Syphilis Study begins. 200 black men diagnosed with syphilis are never told of their
illness, are denied treatment, and instead are used as human guinea pigs in order to follow the progression and
symptoms of the disease. They all subsequently die from syphilis, their families never told that they could have
been treated.
1935 The Pellagra Incident. After millions of individuals die from Pellagra over a span of two decades, the
U.S. Public Health Service finally acts to stem the disease. The director of the agency admits it had known for at
least 20 years that Pellagra is caused by a niacin deficiency but failed to act since most of the deaths occured
within poverty-striken black populations.
1940 Four hundred prisoners in Chicago are infected with Malaria in order to study the effects of new and
experimental drugs to combat the disease. Nazi doctors later on trial at Nuremberg cite this American study to
defend their own actions during the Holocaust.
1942 Chemical Warfare Services begins mustard gas experiments on approximately 4,000 servicemen. The
experiments continue until 1945 and made use of Seventh Day Adventists who chose to become human guinea pigs rather
than serve on active duty.
1943 In response to Japan's full-scale germ warfare program, the U.S. begins research on
biological weapons at Fort Detrick, MD.
1944 U.S. Navy uses human subjects to test gas masks and clothing. Individuals were locked in a gas chamber
and exposed to mustard gas and lewisite.
1945 Project Paperclip is initiated. The U.S. State Department, Army intelligence, and the CIA recruit Nazi
scientists and offer them immunity and secret identities in exchange for work on top secret government projects in
the United States.
1945 "Program F" is implemented by the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission (AEC). This is the most extensive U.S.
study of the health effects of fluoride, which was the key chemical component in atomic bomb production. One of the
most toxic chemicals known to man, fluoride, it is found, causes marked adverse effects to the central nervous
system but much of the information is squelched in the name of national security because of fear that lawsuits
would undermine full-scale production of atomic bombs.
1946 Patients in VA hospitals are used as guinea pigs for medical experiments. In order to allay
suspicions, the order is given to change the word "experiments" to "investigations" or "observations" whenever
reporting a medical study performed in one of the nation's veteran's hospitals.
1947 Colonel E.E. Kirkpatrick of the U.S. Atomic Energy Comission issues a secret document (Document 07075001,
January 8, 1947) stating that the agency will begin administering intravenous doses of radioactive substances to
human subjects.
1947 The CIA begins its study of LSD as a potential weapon for use by American intelligence. Human subjects
(both civilian and military) are used with and without their knowledge.
1950 Department of Defense begins plans to detonate nuclear weapons in desert areas and monitor downwind
residents for medical problems and mortality rates.
1950 I n an experiment to determine how susceptible an American city would be to biological attack, the
U.S. Navy sprays a cloud of bacteria from ships over San Franciso. Monitoring devices are situated throughout the
city in order to test the extent of infection. Many residents become ill with pneumonia-like symptoms.
1951 Department of Defense begins open air tests using disease-producing bacteria and viruses. Tests last
through 1969 and there is concern that people in the surrounding areas have been exposed.
1953 U.S. military releases clouds of zinc cadmium sulfide gas over Winnipeg, St. Louis, Minneapolis, Fort
Wayne, the Monocacy River Valley in Maryland, and Leesburg, Virginia. Their intent is to determine how efficiently
they could disperse chemical agents.
1953 Joint Army-Navy-CIA experiments are conducted in which tens of thousands of people in New York and San
Francisco are exposed to the airborne germs Serratia marcescens and Bacillus glogigii.
1953 CIA initiates Project MKULTRA. This is an eleven year research program designed to produce and test
drugs and biological agents that would be used for mind control and behavior modification. Six of the subprojects
involved testing the agents on unwitting human beings.
1955 The CIA, in an experiment to test its ability to infect human populations with biological agents,
releases a bacteria withdrawn from the Army's biological warfare arsenal over Tampa Bay, Fl.
1955 Army Chemical Corps continues LSD research, studying its potential use as a chemical
incapacitating agent. More than 1,000 Americans participate in the tests, which continue until
1958.
1956 U.S. military releases mosquitoes infected with Yellow Fever over Savannah, Ga and
Avon Park, Fl. Following each test, Army agents posing as public health officials test victims for
effects.
1958 LSD is tested on 95 volunteers at the Army's Chemical Warfare Laboratories for its
effect on intelligence.
1960 The Army Assistant Chief-of-Staff for Intelligence (ACSI) authorizes field testing of
LSD in Europe and the Far East. Testing of the european population is code named Project THIRD CHANCE; testing of
the Asian population is code named Project DERBY HAT.
1965 Project CIA and Department of Defense begin Project MKSEARCH, a program to develop a
capability to manipulate human behavior through the use of mind-altering drugs.
1965 Prisoners at the Holmesburg State Prison in Philadelphia are subjected to dioxin, the
highly toxic chemical component of Agent Orange used in Viet Nam. The men are later studied for development of
cancer, which indicates that Agent Orange had been a suspected carcinogen all along.
1966 CIA initiates Project MKOFTEN, a program to test the toxicological effects of certain
drugs on humans and animals.
1966 U.S. Army dispenses Bacillus subtilis variant niger throughout the New York City
subway system. More than a million civilians are exposed when army scientists drop lightbulbs filled with the
bacteria onto ventilation grates.
1967 CIA and Department of Defense implement Project MKNAOMI, successor to MKULTRA and
designed to maintain, stockpile and test biological and chemical weapons.
1968 CIA experiments with the possibility of poisoning drinking water by injecting
chemicals into the water supply of the FDA in Washington, D.C.
1969 Dr. Robert MacMahan of the Department of Defense requests from congress $10 million to
develop, within 5 to 10 years, a synthetic biological agent to which no natural immunity exists.
1970 Funding for the synthetic biological agent is obtained under H.R. 15090. The project,
under the supervision of the CIA, is carried out by the Special Operations Division at Fort Detrick, the army's top
secret biological weapons facility. Speculation is raised that molecular biology techniques are used to produce
AIDS-like retroviruses.
1970 United States intensifies its development of "ethnic weapons" (Military Review, Nov.,
1970), designed to selectively target and eliminate specific ethnic groups who are susceptible due to genetic
differences and variations in DNA.
1975 The virus section of Fort Detrick's Center for Biological Warfare Research is renamed
the Fredrick Cancer Research Facilities and placed under the supervision of the National Cancer Institute (NCI) .
It is here that a special virus cancer program is initiated by the U.S. Navy, purportedly to develop cancer-causing
viruses. It is also here that retrovirologists isolate a virus to which no immunity exists. It is later named HTLV
(Human T-cell Leukemia Virus).
1977 Senate hearings on Health and Scientific Research confirm that 239 populated areas had
been contaminated with biological agents between 1949 and 1969. Some of the areas included San Francisco,
Washington, D.C., Key West, Panama City, Minneapolis, and St. Louis.
1978 Experimental Hepatitis B vaccine trials, conducted by the CDC, begin in New York, Los
Angeles and San Francisco. Ads for research subjects specifically ask for promiscuous homosexual
men.
1981 First cases of AIDS are confirmed in homosexual men in New York, Los Angeles and San
Francisco, triggering speculation that AIDS may have been introduced via the Hepatitis B vaccine
1985 According to the journal Science (227:173-177), HTLV and VISNA, a fatal sheep virus,
are very similar, indicating a close taxonomic and evolutionary relationship.
1986 According to the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (83:4007-4011), HIV
and VISNA are highly similar and share all structural elements, except for a small segment which is nearly
identical to HTLV. This leads to speculation that HTLV and VISNA may have been linked to produce a new retrovirus
to which no natural immunity exists.
1986 A report to Congress reveals that the U.S. Government's current generation of
biological agents includes: modified viruses, naturally occurring toxins, and agents that are altered through
genetic engineering to change immunological character and prevent treatment by all existing
vaccines.
1987 Department of Defense admits that, despite a treaty banning research and development
of biological agents, it continues to operate research facilities at 127 facilities and universities around the
nation.
1990 More than 1500 six-month old black and hispanic babies in Los Angeles are given an
"experimental" measles vaccine that had never been licensed for use in the United States. CDC later admits that
parents were never informed that the vaccine being injected to their children was experimental.
1994 With a technique called "gene tracking," Dr. Garth Nicolson at the MD Anderson Cancer
Center in Houston, TX discovers that many returning Desert Storm veterans are infected with an altered strain of
Mycoplasma incognitus, a microbe commonly used in the production of biological weapons. Incorporated into its
molecular structure is 40 percent of the HIV protein coat, indicating that it had been man-made.
1994 Senator John D. Rockefeller issues a report revealing that for at least 50 years the
Department of Defense has used hundreds of thousands of military personnel in human experiments and for intentional
exposure to dangerous substances. Materials included mustard and nerve gas, ionizing radiation, psychochemicals,
hallucinogens, and drugs used during the Gulf War .
1995 U.S. Government admits that it had offered Japanese war criminals and scientists who
had performed human medical experiments salaries and immunity from prosecution in exchange for data on biological
warfare research.
1995 Dr. Garth Nicolson, uncovers evidence that the biological agents used during the Gulf
War had been manufactured in Houston, TX and Boca Raton, Fl and tested on prisoners in the Texas Department of
Corrections.
1996 Department of Defense admits that Desert Storm soldiers were exposed to chemical
agents.
1997 Eighty-eight members of Congress sign a letter demanding an investigation into
bioweapons use & Gulf War Syndrome.
Operation
Gladio: State Sponsored
Terror
Blamed on the Left
Following the Second World War, the CIA and Britain’s MI6
collaborated through NATO on Operation Gladio, an effort to create a “stay behind army” to fight communism in the event of a Soviet invasion of Western
Europe.
Gladio quickly transcended its original mission and became a covert terror network consisting of rightwing
militias, organized crime elements, agents provocateurs and secret military units. The so-called stay behind armies
were active in France, Belgium, Denmark, The Netherlands, Norway, Germany, and Switzerland.
Gladio’s “Strategy of Tension” was designed to portray leftist political groups in Europe as
terrorists and frighten the populace into voting for authoritarian governments. In order to carry out this goal,
Gladio operatives conducted a number of deadly terrorists attacks that were blamed on leftists and Marxists.
In August of 1980,
Gladio operatives bombed a train station in Bologna, killing 85 people. Initially blamed on the Red Brigades,
it was later discovered that fascist elements within the Italian secret police and Licio Gelli, the head of the P2 Masonic Lodge, were responsible for the terror attack. Other
fascist groups, including Avanguardia Nazionale and Ordine Nuovo, were mobilized and engaged in terror.
Operation Gladio ultimately claimed the lives of hundreds of people across Europe.
According to Vincenzo Vinciguerra, a Gladio terrorist serving a life-sentence for murdering policemen,
the reason for Gladio was simple. It was designed “to force these people, the Italian public, to turn to the
state to ask for greater security. This is the political logic that lies behind all the massacres and the
bombings which remain unpunished, because the state cannot convict itself or declare itself responsible for what
happened.”
Operation Gladio:
The Cold War 'Black Op' Continues
"Terror is being used as a weapon to destroy the cherished freedoms of democratic societies"
The recent attack on Libya laid bare the iron fist behind the velvet glove of slogans like "human rights" and
"international community." This latest aggression, like the destruction of Yugoslavia and the rape of Afghanistan,
proceeds under the cover of NATO. And what is NATO? Author Richard Cottrell tells the story of mayhem, murder
and
subversion behind the "alliance for peace."
Gladio: NATO's Dagger at the Heart of Europe, The Pentagon-Nazi-Mafia
Terror Axis(paperback 484 pages) by
former European parliamentarian Richard Cottrell reveals the dark side of NATO. This
explosive book covers a vast array of NATO assassination, false-flags and other covert
operations.
The recent attack on Libya laid bare the iron
fist behind the velvet glove of slogans like "human rights" and "international community." This latest
aggression, like the destruction of Yugoslavia and the rape of Afghanistan, proceeds under the
cover of NATO. And what is NATO? Author Richard Cottrell tells the story of mayhem, murder
and subversion behind the "alliance for
peace."
Masquerading as a rear guard against Soviet
invaders, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) was promoted during the Cold War as a force
for peace. Yet NATO always had its very dark side since its inception. NATO's covert
forces warped into psychological and physical terrorism. These were the "years of lead," in which hundreds perished in a
synthetic war in the streets of Europe. In addition, NATO commander General Lyman Lemnitzer ordered
serial attacks on French president Charles de Gaulle. Sacked from the Pentagon by John F. Kennedy
for rank insubordination, then exiled to Europe, did Lemnitzer also reap his revenge in Dallas?
Once the Soviet threat vanished, NATO became the aggressor against a series of small, independent
nations: Yugoslavia, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya with Syria and Iran next on the list. These
supposed peace keepers are constantly engaged in a cycle of overthrowing independent governments
and constant warfare at the behest of their globalist handlers.
A deeper look at NATO uncovers even
more unsettling facts about this global police force. The secret armies forged bonds with
organized crime and neo-fascists. NATO-backed coups struck down governments in Greece and Turkey;
the island state of Cyprus was sundered amid bitter genocide. Urban guerrillas like the Red
Brigades and the Baader-Meinhof Gang were cunningly manipulated. Italy gained a deep-state
government, the ultra-secret P2 pseudo-Masonic lodge, founded by former Blackshirts.
The covert units of NATO continue to
operate and their fingerprints are found on many different world events. Swedish premier Olof
Palme and Italian ex-PM Aldo Moro were assassinated. Pope John Paul II was shot by Turkish
gangsters who had regular work as Gladio guns for hire. The shootings in Norway in July 2011, and
in Belgium, France and Italy in 2012, all bore the classic stripe of Gladio false-flag
operations.
Cottrell
documents how the infamous Northwoods Plot virus was transmitted into the reign of terror that has
struck the western world in the wake of 9/11. The old communist bogey-man was replace with
new enemies: jihadists and anarchists supposedly opposed to the global world order. He shows
that the Gladio virus is not past history, but is highly active today. He writes
"Terror is being used as a weapon to
destroy the cherished freedoms of democratic societies. This is the forerunner of the
autocratic authoritarian system for which Lemnitzer yearned."
23 years after it was first revealed to the
public in the Italian Parliament, few are today aware of the history of Operation Gladio, the stay-behind
operation that was seeded by intelligence agencies in Western Europe at the end of WWII and which was
responsible for numerous terrorist attacks and outrages in the ensuing decades. Fewer still are aware of
the details of this program, where it originated, who was behind it, and what it teaches us about the
nature of such operations. Join us today on The Corbett Report as we talk with Tom Secker of InvestigatingTheTerror.com about this much-neglected piece of false flag
history.
As one of the most thoroughly-documented examples of a decades-long program of officially-sanctioned false
flag terror, Operation Gladio remains a woefully under-reported piece of the War on Terror puzzle. Today we go
behind the trite summarizations of this program to look at it in-depth, examine its roots, and discover how it
is continuing to operate right through to the present day.

Ever since its inception there have been those who have
warned that the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, far from offering a simple "collective security" pact to ensure
the integrity of its member nations' borders, would in fact be used as an offensive tool of imperial adventurism
and conquest. Since the NATO-led Kosovo bombing campaign of 1999 at the very least, those fears have appeared more
and more justified.
Since that time, NATO has continued to take a lead role in more and more overtly
offensive campaigns of aggression in theatre after theatre. By now it is commonly understood to be an extension of
the Pentagon itself, a convenient international military instrument for Washington to wield whenever the pretense
of an international consensus cannot be achieved at the UN Security Council.
-- James Corbett
NATO is the first attempt in history to establish an aggressive
global military formation, one which currently includes a third of the nations of the world either as members or
partners, has members and partners on five continents and has conducted active operations on four, with the
potential to expand its reach into the remaining two where it has not yet officially intruded
itself...As NATO continues to expand across the globe through a series of
partnerships, initiatives and dialogues, what was once a collective security agreement is increasingly
becoming a global military strike force capable of bombarding, invading and occupying countries anywhere
in the world.
Phone call between diplomats reveals dark underside
to Euromaidan coup
Kurt Nimmo
Infowars.com
March 5, 2014
In a leaked audio recording of
a telephone call between Estonia’s Foreign Minister Urmas Paet and EU foreign affairs boss Catherine Ashton, Paet
told his counterpart leaders of the Euromaidan movement that would ultimately overthrow the government of Viktor
Yanukovych were likely behind sniper killing last month.
The revelation was recorded an
uploaded to the web by officers of Security Service of Ukraine loyal to Yanukovych who hacked the phone
conversation, RT reports today.
“There is now stronger and stronger understanding that behind the snipers, it was not
Yanukovych, but it was somebody from the new coalition,” Paet said.
“I think we do want to investigate,” Ashton said.
The EU has not announced an investigation and the media in the West is not reporting
the story. Paet said the coup government in Kyiv has so far not expressed an interest in investigating the
allegation that snipers targeted both protesters and police.
The Estonian Foreign Minister said the people of Ukraine do not trust the newly
installed Euromaidan leaders. He also said opposition politicians set to govern the country have a “dirty
past.”
NATO Gladio Operation in Ukraine
On Monday, researcher and journalist F. William Engdahl said a “secretive neo-nazi military organization reported linked to
NATO played a decisive role in targeted sniper attacks and violence that led to the collapse of the elected
government.”
“The question unanswered until now is who deployed the snipers? According to veteran
US intelligence sources, the snipers came from an ultra-right-wing military organization known as Ukrainian
National Assembly – Ukrainian People’s Self-Defense (UNA-UNSO),” Engdahl writes.
Intelligence sources quoted by Engdahl say UNA-UNSO “is part of a secret NATO
‘Gladio’ organization, and not a Ukraine nationalist group as portrayed in western media.” UNA-UNSO members are
NATO mercenaries fighting “dirty wars” in Lithuania, Abkhazia,Khazar, Chechnya, and Kosovo. They were
behind the Soviet coup d’etat in the summer 1991.
“These people are the dangerous mercenaries used all over the world to fight NATO’s
dirty war, and to frame Russia because this group pretends to be Russian special forces. THESE ARE THE BAD GUYS,
forget about the window dressing nationalists, these are the men behind the sniper rifles,” Engdahl’s sources
insist.
In 1991 Italian Prime Minister Giulio Andreotti revealed the existence of a NATO
“stay behind army” organized at the conclusion of the Second World War. Dubbed “Gladio,” the Italian word for
sword, the secret terrorist organization, maintained by the CIA and MI6, killed hundreds of innocent civilians as a
fear tactic designed “to force… the public to turn to the state to ask for greater security,” said Italian
neo-fascist activist Vincenzo Vinciguerra.
“Originally set up as a network of clandestine cells to be activated behind the lines
in the event of a Soviet invasion of Western Europe, Gladio quickly expanded into a tool for political repression
and manipulation, directed by NATO and Washington,” writes Chris Floyd. “Using right-wing militias, underworld figures,
government provocateurs and secret military units, Gladio not only carried out widespread terrorism,
assassinations and electoral subversion in democratic states such as Italy, France and West Germany, but also
bolstered fascist tyrannies in Spain and Portugal, abetted the military coup in Greece and aided Turkey’s
repression of the Kurds.”
Evidence has accumulated demonstrating the Euromaidan movement was artificially
created by the architects of color revolution – the State Department, USAID, and the Soros NGOs – and this
movement, consisting in large part of sincere yet duped Ukrainians attempting to effectuate political change, was
cynically used to install a preferred minion in power, namely Arseniy “Yats” Yatsenyuk, a central banker. Yats is,
as the Nuland-Pyatt conversation revealed, the preferred choice of the State Department and, thus, the financial
elite.
The Gladio element was introduced when the Euromaidan movement stalled and the coup
seemed to be in danger of losing momentum. Past color revolutions have relied on lower levels of violence and, to a
large degree, non-violence, but as the so-called Lotus Revolution in Egypt revealed (as did other elements of the
Arab Spring), violence is a key and often preferred component of the order of chaos strategy. The so-called Arab
Spring, as well as the Maidan coup in Ukraine, have not brought democracy, as claimed, but disorder, ethic and
religious strife, and widespread violence and mass murder.
In Ukraine, the prospect is not merely a radical nationalist regime taking power and
further polarizing social and political life in that country, but also the ominous possibility of a dangerous and
potentially thermonuclear conflict between the United States and Russia.

When questioning the official narrative proved
crucial
by Paul Joseph Watson & Alex Jones | August 27, 2014
Despite the fact that the term “conspiracy
theory” has been weaponized by the establishment as a perjorative slur against anyone who questions the official
narrative of any government pronouncement, there are innumerable examples throughout history of conspiracies that
were proven to be true.
Let’s take a look at ten examples;
1) Operation AJAX and false flag terror
The notion that governments and intelligence agencies carry out acts of false flag terrorism has
long been derided by the establishment media as a conspiracy theory, despite there being a plethora of historically
documented instances.
After decades of denial, in August 2013 the CIA finally admitted its role in staging the coup in Iran which led
to the overthrow of Mohammad Mossadegh in 1953 under the umbrella of Operation AJAX.
On August 4, 1964, President Lyndon Johnson went on national television and told the nation that
North Vietnam had attacked U.S. ships.
“Repeated acts of violence against the armed forces of the United States must be met not only with
alert defense, but with a positive reply. That reply is being given as I speak tonight,” Johnson declared.
Congress soon passed the Gulf of Tonkin Resolution, which provided Johnson with pre-approved
authority to conduct military operations against North Vietnam. By 1969, over 500,000 troops were fighting in
Southeast Asia.
Johnson and his Secretary of Defense, Robert McNamara, had bamboozled Congress and the American
people. In fact, North Vietnam had not attacked the USS Maddox, as the Pentagon claimed, and the “unequivocal
proof” of an “unprovoked” second attack against the U.S. warship was a ruse.
3) Operation Gladio: State Sponsored Terror Blamed on the Left
Following the Second World War, the CIA and Britain’s MI6 collaborated through NATO on Operation Gladio, an effort to create a “stay behind army” to fight communism in the event of a Soviet invasion of Western
Europe.
Gladio quickly transcended its original mission and became a covert terror network consisting of
right wing militias, organized crime elements, agent provocateurs and secret military units. The so-called stay
behind armies were active in France, Belgium, Denmark, The Netherlands, Norway, Germany, and Switzerland.
Gladio’s “Strategy of Tension” was designed to portray leftist political groups in Europe as
terrorists and frighten the populace into voting for authoritarian governments. In order to carry out this goal,
Gladio operatives conducted a number of deadly terrorist attacks that were blamed on leftists and Marxists.
In August of 1980, Gladio operatives bombed a train station in Bologna, killing 85 people.
It was designed to force these people, the Italian public, to turn to the
state to ask for greater security. This is the political logic that lies behind all the massacres and the
bombings which remain unpunished, because the state cannot convict itself or declare itself responsible for what
happened.
The plan included shooting down
hijacked American airplanes, the sinking of U.S. ships, and the shooting of Americans on the streets of
Washington, D.C. The outrageous plan even included a staged NASA disaster that would claim the life of astronaut
John Glenn.
Reeling under the embarrassing failure of the CIA’s botched Bay of Pigs invasion of Cuba, president
Kennedy rejected the plan in March of 1962. A few months later, Kennedy denied the plan’s author, General Lyman
Lemnitzer, a second term as the nation’s highest ranking military officer.
In November of 1963, Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas, Texas.
5) The Gleiwitz Incident
The Gleiwitz incident refers to a false flag operation carried out by the Nazis on 31 August 1939
during which SS troops staged an attack on a German radio station and then blamed Polish troops.
German operatives dressed in Polish military garb seized the radio station, located near the Polish
border, before broadcasting a short propaganda message in Polish. They then killed concentration camp victims who
were also dressed in Polish uniforms and left them at the scene, making the incident look like an act of Polish
aggression. The very next day Germany invaded Poland, with Hitler citing the incident as one of the pretexts.
Nine days before the incident, Hitler had told his generals, “I will provide a propagandistic casus
belli. Its credibility doesn’t matter. The victor will not be asked whether he told the truth.”
6) Tobacco companies deliberately added addictive chemicals to
cigarettes
Conspiracies are not always of a governmental nature, they can also be targeted at consumers. As
the BBC reported, tobacco companies in the United States were
caught deliberately engineering cigarettes for addiction by including chemicals that artificially increased the
addictive kick of the product and made it taste better.
Clive Bates, director of ASH, said the discovery exposed a “scandal in which tobacco companies
deliberately use additives to make their bad products even worse”.
7) Operation Fast and Furious
Operation Fast and Furious, under which the Obama administration smuggled weapons to Mexican drug
lords in an apparent effort to trace the guns and bust the drug gangs, was in fact part of a conspiracy to demonize
the second amendment.
Documents obtained by CBS News in December 2011 prove that ATF agents discussed how they could tie guns
involved in Mexican violence to gun dealers based in the U.S with a view to passing stricter gun control
regulations.
One law enforcement source told CBS News that the emails suggested the ATF created the problem
itself as part of a political ploy.
“It’s like ATF created or added to the problem so they could be the solution to it and pat
themselves on the back. It’s a circular way of thinking,” the source said.
8) NSA spying & mass surveillance
In the 1990′s, when anti-surveillance activists and media personalities were warning about the
NSA’s huge domestic spying operation, they were treated as paranoid conspiracy theorists.
Well over a decade before the Snowden revelations, the NSA was busy intercepting and recording all
electronic communications across the entire world under the Echelon program.
In 1999, the Australian government
admitted that they were part of an NSA-led global intercept and surveillance program called Echelon in
alliance with the US and Britain that could listen to “every international telephone call, fax, e-mail, or radio
transmission,” on the planet.
In addition, a 2001
European Parliament report stated that “within Europe all e-mail, telephone and fax communications are
routinely intercepted” by the NSA.
9) CIA Drug Trafficking
The Central Intelligence Agency has been implicated in drug trafficking operations all over the
world as well as domestically, most notably during the Iran-Contra affair, under which Contra personnel smuggled
cocaine into the U.S. with the blessing of the CIA which was then distributed as crack cocaine in Los Angeles, with
the profits being funneled back to the Contras.
Former Los Angeles Police Department officer Michael Ruppert also testified that he had witnessed
CIA drug trafficking.
Top Mexican drug lords like Jesus Vicente Zambada Niebla have also gone
public to assert that they were hired by the U.S. government for drug trafficking operations. There is a
voluminous body of evidence that confirms the
CIA and U.S. banking giants are the top players in a global drug trade worth hundreds of billions of dollars a
year, information made public by the likes of Gary Webb.
10) The CIA’s heart attack gun
During Senate testimony in 1975 into illegal activities by the CIA, it was revealed that the agency
had developed a dart gun capable of causing a heart attack. “At the first televised hearing, staged in the Senate
Caucus Room, Chairman Church dramatically displayed a CIA poison dart gun to highlight the committee’s discovery
that the CIA directly violated a presidential order by maintaining stocks of shellfish toxin sufficient to kill
thousands,” a Senate web
page explains.
“The lethal poison then rapidly enters the bloodstream causing a heart attack. Once the damage is
done, the poison denatures quickly, so that an autopsy is very unlikely to detect that the heart attack resulted
from anything other than natural causes. Sounds like the perfect James Bond weapon, doesn’t it? Yet this is all
verifiable in Congressional testimony,” writes Fred
Burks.
“The dart from this secret CIA weapon can penetrate clothing and leave nothing but a tiny red dot
on the skin. On penetration of the deadly dart, the individual targeted for assassination may feel as if bitten by
a mosquito, or they may not feel anything at all. The poisonous dart completely disintegrates upon entering the
target.”
Burks suggests that Mark Pittman, a reporter who
predicted the financial crisis and exposed Federal Reserve misdoings which led to a Bloomberg lawsuit against the
bankster cartel, may have been assassinated with the CIA weapon.
In 1967, the CIA moved to counter criticism
of the Warren Report by weaponizing the term “conspiracy” as a pejorative in order to discredit skepticism towards
the official story of the JFK assassination. With the establishment media still employing similar tactics to this
day, we take another look at ten conspiracy theories that came true.
- Fascist conspiracy to overthrow the U.S. government
Known as the “Business Plot,” the
conspiracy revolved around a scheme to overthrow the President of the United States Franklin D. Roosevelt as part
of a coup d’état organized by the heads of Chase Bank, GM, Goodyear, Standard Oil, the DuPont family and Senator
Prescott Bush, George W. Bush’s grandfather.
The wealthy group approached Marine Corps Major General Smedley Butler with a plan to install a
fascist dictatorship by force but Butler blew the whistle, exposing the plot during testimony to the United States
House of Representatives Special Committee on Un-American Activities.
Despite initially having been dismissed as a “gigantic hoax” by the New York Times, the committee
concluded that Butler’s allegations were credible, although no one was charged.
- The FBI crime lab cover-up
In the early 1990′s, Dr. Frederic Whitehurst, one of the FBI’s top scientists, blew the whistle on
how the FBI was manipulating crime lab data in order to sway trials and frame innocent people who were convicted
and sent to prison for crimes they did not commit based on faulty evidence.
In 2012 it emerged that the Justice Department had been “withholding information for years about hundreds
or even thousands of cases that were tainted by faulty forensic work in the FBI Crime Lab.”
A
Washington Post exposé found that, “hundreds of defendants nationwide remain in prison or on parole for
crimes that might merit exoneration, a retrial or a retesting of evidence using DNA because FBI hair and fiber
experts may have misidentified them as suspects.”
- The existence of the Mafia
For years, FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover denied the very existence of the Mafia. While acknowledging
the existence of criminals, many of whom came from Sicily, Hoover refused to entertain the notion that such groups
conspired in different areas of the country as part of an organized crime racket.
As the New York Times
reported, Hoover’s reluctance to accept the existence of the Mafia was likely born out of the fact that he was
“paid off” to keep quiet.
- The FBI poisoned alcohol during prohibition
Although claims of the government meddling with the environment, food and water supply are
routinely dismissed as “conspiracy theories” by mainline talking heads, such a precedent goes right back to the
1920′s, when the FBI deliberately poisoned alcohol in an attempt to enforce prohibition laws.
As ListVerse
documents, “Once Prohibition went into effect, the FBI saw fit to enforce it as well as possible, since the law
is the law, and, by adding potentially fatal impurities to it, endeavored to teach the public that it was going to
lose with Mr. Booze. These impurities included methane, formaldehyde, ammonia, and even arsenic and kerosene.”
“But the FBI’s usual method, without informing the populace, of course, was to denature drinkable
alcohol, which is called ethanol, by adding rubbing alcohol, which is made of water and propene. Propene is
distilled from natural gas and oil; rubbing alcohol does a fine job cleaning wounds and preventing infection, but
will destroy your intestines, kidneys, and liver if you drink it. The FBI also added acetone, which is paint
thinner.”
- The Tuskegee Syphilis Experiment
In 1932, the U.S. government announced that it was going to conduct tests into the effects of
syphilis. 600 poor illiterate black men from Tuskegee, Alabama were approached to take part in the program. 399 of
the men had contracted syphilis before the experiment began while 201 were not infected with the disease.
The men were told they were receiving “free health care,” but were not informed they had syphilis
and were denied treatment for the disease, as well as receiving painful and unnecessary spinal taps.
The experiment wasn’t exposed until 1972, meaning that for 40 years any talk of what happened was
easily denounced as a conspiracy theory.
- The Clintons and the “vast right-wing conspiracy”
In response to media outlets reporting on alleged cover-ups and scandals involving former U.S.
President Bill Clinton, the Clintons launched a public relations operation that was designed to prevent “mainstream
media” from picking up such stories.
Hillary Clinton invented the pejorative term “the vast right-wing conspiracy” in order to discredit
such stories and prevent them from translating from the so-called “new media” to the establishment press.
As World Net Daily’s
Joseph Farah notes, “It’s quite an amazing story….It may all have a familiar ring to the tea-party groups of
the 21st century. Clinton got away with it, so it was bound to happen again – and it most assuredly has.”
- The USS Liberty
The USS Liberty, a United States Navy technical research ship, was attacked and sunk by the Israeli
Air Force on 8 June 1967, during the Six-Day War, killing 34 crew members.
The Israelis claimed that the attack was an error because the ship had been mistaken for an
Egyptian vessel and the U.S. government accepted this version of events.
However, in 2007 declassified government documents, in
addition to recollections of former military personnel, emerged to indicate that intercepted communications “showed
the Israelis knew they were attacking an American naval vessel.”
- Germany’s claim that the Lusitania was carrying munitions
Nearly two thousand travelers, including one hundred Americans, were killed on May 7, 1915, when a
German U-boat torpedoed the RMS Lusitania,
a luxury Cunard Line British ocean liner.
Prior to the sinking, the German embassy in Washington issued a warning. Newspapers in the United
States refused to print the warning or acknowledge the German claim that the ship carried munitions.
Wilson’s government issued a flurry of diplomatic protests after
the sinking and exploited the tragedy two years later as a pretext for America to enter the First World War.
“There were literally tons and tons of stuff stored in unrefrigerated cargo holds that were
dubiously marked cheese, butter and oysters,”
Gregg Bemis, an American businessman who owns the rights to the wreck and is funding its exploration, told The
Daily Mail.
- The Lavon Affair
In 1954, the Israelis activated a terrorist cell in response to the United States making friends
with the Egyptian government and its pan-Arab leader, Gamal Abdel Nasser. The Israelis were worried Nasser would
nationalize the Suez Canal and continue Egypt’s blockade of Israeli shipping through the canal.
Israeli Prime Minister David Ben Gurion decided a false flag terrorist attack on American interests
in Egypt would sour the new relationship. He recruited and dispatched a terror cell that pretended to be Egyptian
terrorists.
The plan, however, contained a fatal flaw. Israel’s top secret cell, Unit 131, was infiltrated by
Egyptian intelligence. After a member of the cell was arrested and interrogated, he revealed the plot and this led
to more arrests. Israeli agents were subjected to a public trial revealing details of the plan to firebomb the U.S.
Information Agency’s libraries, a British-owned Metro-Goldwyn Mayer theatre, a railway terminal, the central post
office, and other targets.
In order to deflect blame, the Israeli government tried to frame its own Defense Minister, Pinhas
Lavon, but the true nature of the plot was eventually made public.
- Geoengineering
For years, the establishment media denied that geoengineering projects were taking place, despite
the claims of many researchers linking the phenomenon of “chemtrails” to atmosphere manipulation programs.
However, towards the end of the last decade, numerous geoengineering projects which were centered
around injecting the upper atmosphere with artificial substances were made public, such as those at the U.S.
Department of Energy’s (DOE) Savannah River National Laboratory in Aiken, S.C, which in 2009 began conducting
studies which involved shooting huge amounts of particulate matter, in this case “porous-walled glass
microspheres,” into the stratosphere.
The notion that governments are spending millions on artificially engineering the climate can no
longer be dismissed as a conspiracy theory.
The Atmospheric Radiation Measurement (ARM) Program was created in 1989 with funding from the U.S.
Department of Energy (DOE) and is sponsored by the DOE’s Office of Science and managed by the Office of Biological
and Environmental Research.
Another program under the Department of Energy’s Atmospheric
Science Program is directed towards, “developing comprehensive understanding of the atmospheric processes
that control the transport, transformation, and fate of energy related trace chemicals and particulate matter.”
The DOE website states that, “The current focus of the program is aerosol radiative forcing of
climate: aerosol formation and evolution and aerosol properties that affect direct and indirect influences on
climate and climate change.”
What are other examples of conspiracy theories that came true? Let us know in the comments
below….
We all know the old trope of the tinfoil hat wearing conspiracy theorist who believes crazy
things like "the government is spying on us" and "the military is spraying things in the sky" and "the CIA ships in
the drugs." Except those things aren't so crazy after all. Here are five examples of things that were once derided
as zany conspiracy paranoia and are now accepted as mundane historical fact.
Smith-Mundt Act “reformed” this month allowing CIA
to disseminate propaganda
Kurt Nimmo
Infowars.com
July 15, 2013
Operation Mockingbird, the CIA’s
long term effort to control the news, has shifted into overdrive.
On July 2, a little noticed “reform” passed in January went into effect. The Smith-Mundt Modernization Act of 2012, passed as part of the 2013 National Defense
Authorization Act, will allow the CIA to flood America with more government propaganda.
The Smith-Mundt Act, passed as the national security state was taking shape in 1948, authorized the State Department to
unleash a tidal wave of propaganda outside the United States while supposedly forbidding its dissemination
inside the country. The law set the stage for Frank Wisner, who headed up the CIA’s covert action division in
the early 1950s, to build his “mighty Wurlitzer,” described by none other than the New York Times as “the means for orchestrating, in almost any language anywhere in the
world, whatever tune the CIA was in the mood to hear.”
In the years since, the establishment media has worked hand in glove with the CIA.
This cozy relationship was revealed by Frank Church and the Select Committee to Study Governmental Operations with
Respect to Intelligence Activities in 1975 and, a few years later, by reporter Carl Bernstein.
“Among the chief executives who helped the CIA were William Paley of CBS, Henry Luce of Time, Arthur Sulzberger
of the New York Times, Barry Bingham Sr. of the Louisville Courier-Journal, and James Copley of the Copley News
Service,” write Amy Goodman and David Goodman in Unreality TV,The Mighty Wurlitzer, Hijacking Public Media, a chapter from the book Static:
GovernmentLiars, Media Cheerleaders, and the People Who Fight Back. “The leading TV
networks, including ABC and NBC, and the wire services-AP, UPI, Reuters, along with Hearst Newspapers, Scripps
Howard, Newsweek, the Miami Herald, and the Saturday Evening Post all had dealings with the spy agency. The
CIA’s most valuable associations were with the New York Times, CBS, and Time Inc.”
This media penetration by the CIA is not merely a baseless conspiracy theory as some
might argue, but is backed up by CIA office memos released under FOIA revealing the placement of “important assets”
inside every major news organization in the country. “It was not until 1982 that the Agency openly admitted that
reporters on the CIA payroll have acted as case officers to agents in the field,” writes Alex Constantine.
“Most consumers of the corporate media were – and are – unaware of the effect that the salting of public opinion
has on their own beliefs,” Constantine continues. “A network anchorman in time of national crisis is an instrument
of psychological warfare in the MOCKINGBIRD media. He is a creature from the national security sector’s chamber of
horrors. For this reason consumers of the corporate press have reason to examine their basic beliefs about
government and life in the parallel universe of these United States.”
Despite the promise of the Smith-Mundt Act – that a firewall stands between foreign and domestic propaganda –
the CIA, the bastard child of Wall Street lawyers, has never honored its charter (prohibiting domestic
operation) and has consistently utilized the corporate media as a propaganda machine.
Enactment of the Smith-Mundt Modernization Act underscores the fact the CIA no longer
pretends to honor its charter and refrains from flooding the media with government propaganda. “The evaporation of
Smith-Mundt and other provisions to safeguard U.S. citizens against government propaganda campaigns is part of a
larger trend within the diplomatic and military establishment,” ace reporter Michael Hastings wrote in May, 2012, more than a year before his assassination.
In fact, this “larger trend” has been in effect since the imposition of the National
Security Act in 1947 and the establishment of the National Security Council, the principal forum used by the
financial elite and their intelligence apparatus to dictate policy to the president of the United States and the
State Department.
"Let's look at the track records, what kind of news source in the U.S. let's say in the past
fifteen years, twenty years, has the highest level of disseminating fake news? I'm talking about factual grounds,
I'm not talking about sensationalism or embellishment okay. What were the sources for the WMD (Weapons of Mass
Destruction) stories that were sold to the public, marketed on hourly basis, not even hourly on minutely basis to
the public?...Mainstream Media: NBC, NPR, CNN, all these sources. And now that we all know it has been established
that for example that WMD stories were all fake, they were lies, they were false...can you recall any of these
publications Mainstream Media publications: NBC, CNN, NPR, PBS, ever coming and issuing an official formal
retraction? Have you heard any of these channels coming and actually apologizing, and saying we disseminated fake
news. And we basically got us into the war by manufacturing consent from the public and that caused tens of
billions of dollars if not trillions of dollars in terms of dollar costs, and all these lives, you know...People in
Iraq and also American Soldiers died. So you're looking at criminal lie in this case, but what kind of consequences
those Mainstream Media channels have faced?"
“Conspiracy Theory”: Foundations of a Weaponized Term Subtle and Deceptive Tactics to Discredit Truth in Media and Research
By James F. Tracy
Global Research, January 22, 2013
“Conspiracy theory” is a term that at once strikes fear and anxiety
in the hearts of most every public figure, particularly journalists and academics. Since the 1960s the label has
become a disciplinary device that has been overwhelmingly effective in defining certain events off limits to
inquiry or debate. Especially in the United States raising legitimate questions about dubious official narratives
destined to inform public opinion (and thereby public policy) is a major thought crime that must be cauterized from
the public psyche at all costs.
Conspiracy theory’s acutely negative connotations may be traced to liberal historian Richard Hofstadter’s
well-known fusillades against the “New Right.” Yet it was the Central Intelligence Agency that likely played the
greatest role in effectively “weaponizing” the term. In the groundswell of public skepticism toward the Warren
Commission’s findings on the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, the CIA sent a detailed directive to all
of its bureaus. Titled “Countering
Criticism of the Warren Commission Report,” the dispatch played a definitive role in making
the “conspiracy theory” term a weapon to be wielded against almost any individual or group calling the
government’s increasingly clandestine programs and activities into question.
This important memorandum and its broad implications for American politics and public discourse are detailed in
a forthcoming book by Florida State University political scientist Lance de-Haven-Smith, Conspiracy
Theory in America. Dr. de-Haven-Smith devised the
state crimes against democracy concept to interpret and explain potential government complicity in events
such as the Gulf of Tonkin incident, the major political assassinations of the 1960s, and 9/11.
“CIA Document 1035-960” was released in response to a 1976 FOIA request by the New York
Times. The directive is especially significant because it outlines the CIA’s concern regarding “the whole
reputation of the American government” vis-à-vis the Warren Commission Report. The agency was especially interested
in maintaining its own image and role as it “contributed information to the [Warren] investigation.”
The memorandum lays out a detailed series of actions and techniques for “countering and discrediting the claims
of the conspiracy theorists, so as to inhibit the circulation of such claims in other countries.” For example,
approaching “friendly elite contacts (especially politicians and editors)” to remind them of the Warren
Commission’s integrity and soundness should be prioritized. “[T]he charges of the critics are without serious
foundation,” the document reads, and “further speculative discussion only plays in to the hands of the [Communist]
opposition.”
The agency also directed its members “[t]o employ propaganda assets to [negate] and refute the attacks of the
critics. Book reviews and feature articles are particularly appropriate for this purpose.”
1035-960 further delineates specific techniques for countering “conspiratorial” arguments centering on the
Warren Commission’s findings. Such responses and their coupling with the pejorative label have been routinely
wheeled out in various guises by corporate media outlets, commentators and political leaders to this day against
those demanding truth and accountability about momentous public events.
No significant new evidence has emerged which the [Warren] Commission did not consider.
Critics usually overvalue particular items and ignore others.
Conspiracy on the large scale often suggested would be impossible to conceal in the United States.
Critics have often been enticed by a form of intellectual pride: they light on some theory and fall in love
with it.
Oswald would not have been any sensible person’s choice for a co-conspirator.
Such vague accusations as that “more than ten people have died mysteriously” [during the Warren
Commission’s inquiry] can always be explained in some natural way e.g.: the individuals concerned have for the
most part died of natural causes.
Today more so than ever news media personalities and commentators occupy powerful positions for initiating
propaganda activities closely resembling those set out in 1035-960 against anyone who might question
state-sanctioned narratives of controversial and poorly understood occurrences. Indeed, as the motives and methods
encompassed in the document have become fully internalized by intellectual workers and operationalized through such
media, the almost uniform public acceptance of official accounts concerning unresolved events such as the Oklahoma
City Murrah Federal Building bombing, 9/11, and most recently the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre, is largely
guaranteed.
The effect on academic and journalistic inquiry into ambiguous and unexplained events that may in turn mobilize
public inquiry, debate and action has been dramatic and far-reaching. One need only look to the rising police state
and evisceration of civil liberties and constitutional protections as evidence of how this set of subtle and
deceptive intimidation tactics has profoundly encumbered the potential for future independent self-determination
and civic empowerment.
What's real and what's fake in the Mideast violence and coups? Revelations surface about
propaganda today
and declassified details about CIA involvement in the Iranian coup 60 years ago.
Marking the sixtieth anniversary of the overthrow of
Iranian Prime Minister Mohammad Mosaddeq, the National Security Archive is today posting recently declassified CIA
documents on the United States’ role in the controversial operation. American and British involvement in Mosaddeq’s
ouster has long been public knowledge, but today’s posting includes what is believed to be the CIA’s first formal
acknowledgement that the agency helped to plan and execute the coup.
The explicit reference to the CIA’s role appears in a copy of an internal history, The Battle for Iran,
dating from the mid-1970s. The agency released a heavily excised version of the account in 1981 in response to an
ACLU lawsuit, but it blacked out all references to TPAJAX, the code name for the U.S.-led operation. Those
references appear in the latest release. Additional CIA materials posted today include working files from Kermit
Roosevelt, the senior CIA officer on the ground in Iran during the coup. They provide new specifics as well as
insights into the intelligence agency’s actions before and after the operation.
This map shows the disposition of bands of “ruffians,” paid to demonstrate by coup organizers, early on August 19,
1953. The bands gathered in the bazaar and other sections of southern Tehran, then moved north through the capital.
Thug leaders’ names appear at left, along with the estimated size of their groups, and their targets. (Courtesy of
Ali Rahnema, author of the forthcoming Thugs, Turn-coats, Soldiers, Spooks: Anatomy of Overthrowing Mosaddeq in
Four Days.)
The 1953 coup remains a topic of global interest because so much about it is still under intense debate. Even
fundamental questions — who hatched the plot, who ultimately carried it out, who supported it inside Iran, and how
did it succeed — are in dispute.[1]
The issue is more than academic. Political partisans on all sides, including the Iranian government, regularly
invoke the coup to argue whether Iran or foreign powers are primarily responsible for the country’s historical
trajectory, whether the United States can be trusted to respect Iran’s sovereignty, or whether Washington needs to
apologize for its prior interference before better relations can occur.
Former intelligence official wants sanctions against Russia
to lead to the removal of Putin, "with a bullet hole in
the back of his head" if necessary
by Kit Daniels | Infowars.com | August 28, 2014
In a recent op-ed, a former CIA official suggested the removal of Russian President
Vladimir Putin, by assassination if necessary, should be the primary objective of the Obama administration in its
strategy for Ukraine.
Herbert E. Meyer, who served as a Special Assistant to the Director of Central
Intelligence under the Reagan administration, said the goal of U.S. sanctions against Russia “should be to get the
Russians who’ve been keeping Putin in power, or tolerating Putin in power, to throw that knockout punch.”
“If Putin is too stubborn to acknowledge that his career is over, and the only way to get
him out of the Kremlin is feet-first, with a bullet hole in the back of his head — that would also be okay with
us,” he stated.
To ensure Putin’s removal, Meyer suggested, the Obama administration should strike a wedge
between the Russian business elite and the Kremlin that could serve as a catalyst for an attempt on Putin’s
life.
“That’s why the sanctions will work if the president and his European counterparts will
keep tightening the screws; if they keep making commerce more difficult for Russia’s serious business executives,
for instance by blocking their access to capital, and if they keep making life more miserable for Russia’s playboy
oligarchs, for instance by canceling their credit cards and denying landing rights to their private jets,” he
added. “And if the president and European leaders keep telling these Russians – bluntly and publicly – that all
this will end the moment Vladimir Putin leaves the Kremlin for good.”
The former CIA official is describing a centuries-old tool of statecraft in which a
foreign power creates discontent between the nobles of another country and their ruler to ensure the eventual
overthrow of that ruler.
But given today’s explosive increase in tensions between Russia and Ukraine, which could
very well lead to another world war, Meyer’s suggestion is particularly disturbing considering is it likely that
current Western intelligence officials also share similar views.
And the destabilization of the Russian government with the loss of Putin will only create
chaos in the East, chaos which can be exploited by the global financial elite who hold no allegiance to any
nationality.
“Every major international crisis for the past century or more has ended with an even
greater consolidation of world power into the hands of the few, and this is no accident,” journalist Brandon Smith
wrote.
THE FBI
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is a governmental agency belonging to the
United StatesDepartment of Justice that serves as both a federal criminal investigative body and an internal
intelligence agency (counterintelligence). Also, it is the government agency responsible for investigating crimes
on Indian reservations in the United States under the Major Crimes Act. The branch has investigative jurisdiction
over violations of more than 200 categories of federal crime. The agency was established in 1908 as the Bureau of
Investigation (BOI). Its name was changed to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in 1935. The agency
headquarters is the J. Edgar Hoover Building, located in Washington, D.C. The agency has fifty-six field offices
located in major cities throughout the United States, and more than 400 resident agencies in lesser cities and
areas across the nation. More than 50 international offices called "legal attachés" exist in U.S. embassies and
consulates general worldwide.
'Federal Bureau of Investigation organizes almost all terror plots
in the US' ...The report reveals that the FBI regularly infiltrates communities where they suspect terrorist-minded
individuals to be engaging with others. Regardless of their intentions, agents are sent in to converse within the
community, find suspects that could potentially carry out “lone wolf” attacks and then, more or less, encourage
them to do so. By providing weaponry, funds and a plan, FBI-directed agents will encourage otherwise-unwilling
participants to plot out terrorist attacks, only to bust them before any events fully
materialize.
Is "democracy" just a carefully managed con game? Professor Quigley not only spent decades
researching and writing about those who secretly control the machinery of our “representative governments,” he
was permitted to examine their secret papers. He was invited in, but he ultimately betrayed their trust when he
