Are evangelical Christians rapidly becoming one of the most hated minorities in America?
Once upon a time such a notion would have been unthinkable, but these days things are changing dramatically. All
over the United States, evangelical Christians are being called “extremists” and evangelical Christian
organizations are being labeled as “hate groups”.
Michael Marcavage is an American missionary, founder and
director of Repent America (RA), a national evangelistic ministry based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and
editor of the Christian News Network, which provides up-to-date news and information affecting the body of
Christ worldwide. While studying at Temple University, Marcavage served as an intern in the West Wing of the
White House, graduating with honors in 2001 with a bachelor's degree in Broadcasting, Telecommunications and
Mass Media.
Since the inception of his public ministry, Michael has encountered numerous challenges for the sake of the
Gospel. In October 2004, he and 10 other Christians, who became known nationwide as the "Philadelphia 11," were
arrested while conducting an evangelistic outreach at one of Philadelphia's annual homosexual festivals.
All eleven Christians were charged with three felonies and five misdemeanors,
which included being indicted under Pennsylvania's "hate crimes" statute called "Ethnic Intimidation" for
sharing the Gospel with event attendees. Each faced a maximum sentence of 47 years in prison and a $90,000
fine. Several months later, the "Philadelphia 11" were vindicated of all charges.

Prosecutors have dropped a criminal case brought against street preacher, Dale Mcalpine. He was arrested and
charged on 20 April 2010 for saying homosexual conduct was a "sin". He was defended by The Christian Institute.
Prosecutors said there was not enough evidence to secure a conviction.

formally known as the Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Prevention Act of 2007, has been renamed the Matthew
Shepard Act. It was approved by the House of Representatives by a vote of 237 to 180 on May 3, 2007. It was
then approved by the Senate by a voice vote on September 27, 2007. The bill died not long after, but most
likely will be reintroduced later this year.

Are evangelical Christians rapidly becoming
one of the most hated minorities in America? Once upon a time such a notion would have been unthinkable, but
these days things are changing dramatically. All over the United States, evangelical Christians are being called
“extremists” and evangelical Christian organizations are being labeled as “hate groups”. In fact, as I will
detail later on in this article, a U.S. Army Reserve training presentation recently specifically identified
evangelical Christians as “religious extremists”. This should be extremely chilling for all evangelical
Christians out there, because as history has shown us over and over again, when you want to persecute a
particular group of people the first step is always to demonize them. And that is exactly what is being done to
evangelical Christians today. Just look at how evangelical Christians are being portrayed on television and in
the movies. Just look at how much hate is being spewed at Christians on the Internet. The Southern Poverty Law
Center and the ACLU, both of which are considered to be among the most prominent “civil rights” organizations in
the United States, are seemingly obsessed with attacking evangelical Christians. It has become trendy to bash
Christians, and that is a very frightening thing. After they have finished demonizing evangelical Christians,
what will the next step be?
A U.S. Army Reserve equal opportunity training presentation entitled “Extremism and Extremist
Organizations” actually included “Evangelical Christianity” as an example of “Religious Extremism” in a list
that also included al-Qaeda, Hamas and the Ku Klux Klan. You can find a copy of the entire presentation
right here.
Is this how evangelical Christians will be treated in the future? Will evangelical Christians be
treated like members of the Ku Klux Klan or like members of al-Qaeda?
A U.S. Army Reserve Equal Opportunity training brief describes “Evangelical Christianity” and “Catholicism”
as examples of “religious extremism,” according to the Archdiocese for the Military Services and the Chaplain
Alliance for Religious Liberty, who shared a copy of the documents with The Christian Post.
“The number of hate groups, extremists and anti‐govt organizations in the U.S. has continued to grow over
the past three years, according to reports by the Southern Poverty Law Center. They increased to 1,018 in 2011,
up from 1,002 in 2010 and 602 in 2000,” reads the first page of the slide presentation labeled “Extremism &
Extremist Organizations.”
Listed alongside “extremist” groups and organizations like the Klu Klux Klan and al-Qaida, the U.S. Army
slideshow has “Evangelical Christianity” as the first bullet, followed by the Muslim Brotherhood,
Ultra-Orthodox Judaism and farther down on the slide, Catholicism.
Posted below is a picture of the slide entitled “Religious Extremism”…
Below that slide there is accompanying text that condemns any religion that believes that it is the
only “right way” and that believes that other religions are wrong…
Extremism is a complex phenomenon; it is defined as beliefs, attitudes, feelings, actions, or strategies of
a character far removed from the “ordinary.” Because “ordinary” is subjective, no religious group would label
itself extreme or its doctrine “extremism.” However, religious extremism is not limited to any single religion,
ethnic group, or region of the world; every religion has some followers that believe that their beliefs,
customs and traditions are the only “right way” and that all others are practicing their faith the “wrong way,”
seeing and believing that their faith/religion superior to all others.
Well, that is exactly what evangelical Christians believe. They believe that the death of Jesus
Christ on the cross is the only payment for sin and thus the only way to be reconciled to God. Unfortunately,
this belief is now enough to be labeled as a “religious extremist”.
But of course it is not just the government that is demonizing Christians these days.
Just look at what the reaction on social media has been to the death of the son of Pastor Rick
Warren.
A lot of people out there have decided to use the death of his mentally ill son as an opportunity
to spew hatred toward Pastor Rick Warren and his faith. The following are a few examples of this hate that have
been posted on Twitter…
-@Goatyeah Rick Warren compared Gay 2 mental illness/his son just
killed himself 4 mental illness..Is Karma paying a visit 2 the #BigotedBibleBeater ?
-@WagCasey So pastor Rick Warren’s son killed himself? Gee, I wonder
what drove him to that? #Duh
-@BarberaLaPeters@BryanJFischer well after all the dead gay kids Rick Warren is
responsible for, I guess one of his is a small price to pay. #tcot
-@SamirPerez Was @RickWarren‘s son gay? Maybe conversion therapy, condemnation and hatred
towards gays was too much for matt…#ripmatt
-@War_of_Kings I wonder if Rick Warren’s son was gay and killed himself
because of his father’s anti-gay bashing?
-@GinsburgJobs@marlenan21 Rick Warren has done terrible damage; my first thought was
that his son was gay thats why he did it. Its sad for the boy.
-@anyprophet so who else is shocked that rick warren drove his gay son
to suicide?
-@TheReallyRick Son of Saddleback Church pastor Rick Warren has
committed suicide. Place your bets on when its discovered he was gay. #ReligionKills#TCOT
Sadly, those are some of the cleaner examples. There are many more which include language that is
definitely not appropriate for children to read.
So why are evangelical Christians hated so much? Well, the truth is that they are primarily hated
because of what they believe. Attempts to intimidate evangelical Christians into changing their beliefs continue
to become more frightening. The following are just a few examples…
1 – A student at Florida Atlantic University was recently suspended from classfor refusing “to write the word ‘Jesus’ on a piece of paper, fold it up,
and step on it.”
2 – A 14-year-old homeschooler in Maryland received multiple death threatsafter testifying in favor of traditional marriage before the Maryland
state senate.
3 – A 14-year-old student at a public school in Texas was suspended from school for saying that he believes that homosexuality is wrong.
4 – A gay activist group that smashed up a church in Oregon says that it
hopes that it will “strike fear into the hearts” of Christian leaders…
The group that allegedly smashed up a Portland church hopes its “small act of vengeance will strike fear
into the hearts of” Christian leaders who teach traditional sexual morality, according to an e-mail message the
group released to the public. A group calling itself “Angry Queers” has claimed responsibility for throwing baseball-sized rocks through nine church windows in Portland’s Mars Hill
Church, including two 100-year-old stained glass panes.
5 – A high school teacher in Oregon was recently escorted from his school by police for objecting to the presence of Planned Parenthood
in the school.
6 – Some gay activists up in Illinois actually threw concrete brick pavers through the glass doors of one
Christian organization in an attempt to intimidate them…
Pro-homosexual activists attacked the Christian Liberty Academy early October 15th –
throwing two large, concrete brick pavers through its glass doors with a hate-note attached– and then issued an
online statement claiming responsibility for the crime. The attackers demanded that CLA
“shut down” a banquet it was hosting later that evening for the “homophobic hate group,” Americans For Truth
About Homosexuality (AFTAH).
7 – All over the country people are being fired from their jobs for expressing their belief in the Biblical view of
sexual morality.
8 – Street preachers all over America are being threatened with arrest just
for standing on street corners and preaching the gospel. Here is one recent example from Illinois…
“I did pretty much the same thing: I preached about twenty minutes, and I handed out a few tracts,” Johnson
explained. “[W]hen I got in my car to leave, … and as I was getting ready to start the car, the police zoomed
up and turned on their lights, and told me to get out of the car.”
“They pretty much said the same thing,” he continued. “They said, ‘You’re not supposed to raise your voice
or scare anybody and tell people they’re going to die.’ I said, ‘Well, what if that building’s on fire and I
raise my voice and tell people if they don’t leave, they’re going to die? Is that wrong?’”
And the Southern Poverty Law Center is very open about who they consider the enemy to be. The
following are just a few prominent evangelical Christian organizations that the SPLC identifies as hate groups…
The American Family Association
Concerned Women for America
Coral Ridge Ministries
Family Research Council
Anyone that is familiar with any of those groups knows that they are absolutely not hate groups. In
fact, they are filled with tremendously loving people. The people that make up organizations such as those are
the backbone of America.
But these days there are many liberal organizations that will label anyone that does not agree with
them as a “hate group” at the drop of a hat.
In another report entitled “The Year in Hate and Extremism“, the Southern Poverty Law Center mentions the following
individuals and groups…
Rand Paul
Chuck Baldwin
TeaParty.org
ConservativeDaily.com
Judicial Watch
The Oath Keepers
The truth, of course, is that all of those individuals and organizations are deeply patriotic and
are trying to turn America around. It is the SPLC that is the one that is filled with hate, and they clearly
have a very deep hatred for anyone that does not agree with them.
Sadly, what is happening to evangelical Christians in America is just part of a larger trend that
is happening all over the globe. The following is from a recentReuters article…
About 100 million Christians are persecuted around the world, with conditions worsening for them most
rapidly in Syria and Ethiopia, according to an annual report by a group supporting oppressed Christians
worldwide.
Open Doors, a non-denominational Christian group, listed North Korea, Saudi Arabia and Afghanistan as the
three toughest countries for Christians last year. They topped the 50-country ranking for 2011 as well.
Persecution of Christians is on the rise, and it is probably only going to get worse in the years
ahead.
Remember what happened in Nazi Germany. There was a long program of demonization against the groups
that the Nazis hated before they ever started to round them up and take them off to camps.
In the end, those that are now demonizing evangelical Christians will not just be satisfied with
calling them names. They ultimately want much more, and what we are witnessing now is just the warm-up act.

School tells parents boy’s rights as transgender trump
their daughter’s privacy rights

Female students at Florence High School in
Colorado were threatened with hate crimes charges when they complained about being harassed by a transgender boy
in the girls’ bathroom.
Initial complaints about the transgender
student’s behavior towards the girls were made by their parents, who were told by the school that the boy’s
transgender rights trumped the privacy rights of their daughters.
When the female students continued to complain about the harassment, the school threatened to kick
them off the athletic team or even hit them with hate crimes charges if they didn’t stay silent.
The Pacific Justice Institute sent a letter to the school warning them against prioritizing
transgender rights over the privacy rights of female students.
“We’re not going to stand by and let 99.7 percent of our students lose their privacy and free
speech rights just because .3 percent of the population are gender-confused,” the letter stated.
The school so adamantly sided with the transgender student that officials even suggested the girls
give up access to most of their restrooms altogether, reported CBN
News.
Although Colorado’s treatment of transgender school children is determined by policy, California
became the first U.S. state to mandate by law the right of girls and boys to choose which bathroom they would
use regardless of their gender back in August when Democratic
Gov. Jerry Brown signed AB 1266, otherwise known as the ‘Transgender Bathroom Bill’. The law takes effect on
January 1st.
The Pacific Justice Institute is circulating
a petition that would force state officials to put the bill up for a referendum. If the group collects
500,000 signatures from Californians before November 10, the Bathroom Bill will be temporarily suspended until
it is voted on at the next State general election in November of 2014.
Californians “jolted by the mental image of children sharing lavatories and locker rooms with
opposite-sex classmates,” are making concerted efforts to repeal the bill before it becomes law, reports
Bloomberg. If the bill is suspended, it could set the precedent for other areas of the country.
However, in states like Colorado, Massachusetts, Connecticut and Washington, students and parents
are at the mercy of schools who have already instituted policies which exalt the rights of a tiny minority while
violating the privacy rights of a huge majority of students who are being forced to share bathrooms with members
of the opposite sex who identify as transgender.

Seattle Pridefest marchers viciously attacked a
Christian street preacher, pummeling him in the back of the head and kicking him in the ribs as he knelt in
pain on the ground.
WARNING: Strong language and violence in following videos.
Brawl at Pride Fest in Seattle. Street preachers get
attacked by crowd. 30 June 2013
While photographing this event, I witnessed a growing anger from some of the crowd, towards
the preachers. All of a sudden a few members in the crowd attacked the street preachers. I switched to video to
document the incident. I DO NOT condone what the attackers did. While I don't agree with these preachers, it is
their Constitutional right to be in public and preach. I think it is tragic that some of the people who
justifiably want tolerance in their life, deny that same tolerance to others. I commend the responding Seattle
PD Officers for the professional way they handled this situation. The main aggressor was arrested.
On a side note: I think it is a testament to the assailants and aggressors that the Seattle PD removes a PBR
can and some liquor bottle from the top of the baby buggy this woman has her children in. Where were those
children while their caretakers were beating innocent people up?
Update: KOMO News has run my video. It can be seen at:
Ok YouTube: This video has gotten WAY bigger than I anticipated. I will no longer have the video set to approve
comments. There are just WAY too many. I will not be monitoring comments or responding to them. Any bigotry,
racism, and what not, is no longer under my control.
As revealed in the disturbing video, two Christian
street preachers stood near a gay pride march, one holding a large sign and the other one clutching a
Bible.
The sign did not make any targeted, inflammatory statements against any particular group.
But several of the marchers did not care.
A heavy-set man and a woman broke off from the march to confront the preachers. The preacher in the “Trust
Jesus” t-shirt tried to block the initial shoving with his Bible.
Both preachers attempted to retreat from conflict.
A short man knocked down the preacher holding the sign, taking it away from him as the heavy-set man sucker
punched the preacher in the head.
The short man showed no mercy as he kicked the now-down preacher in the ribs.
After the brutal assault on both the preachers and free speech, two police officers walked towards the
quickly fleeing attackers.
According to Life Site News, the officers did arrest 36-year-old Jason Queree as well as
an additional suspect.
This violent attack is similar to an incident at Pride 2012 in Toronto where activists verbally and
physically assaulted (with a water bottle) a microphone-welding street preacher who kept his composure the
entire time.
Toronto Police vs Christians at Pride
2012
Peaceful discussion between the Preacher and man in blue, when they were interrupted by
a man and woman. Others jumped in. The Preacher tried to have a respectful conversation. Cops then came taking
sides with the pride supporters. The cops then started to push the Christians and tried to stop their free
speech. When asking the cop to give his badge number and name, the officer said look here (shoulder) while
walking away. I ask several times before he then grabbed my camera and pushed me against the wall. The officer
took my camera and placed it in his pocket. He then proceeded to tell me he did not have it.
Others told him he had no right to take my personal property. after asking again for my camera he gave it
back.
Here our website http://christsforgiveness.com
At one point the preacher even offered to hand his
microphone over to his opposition.
“If anyone wants to have a respectful conversation one by one, I’m going to lend the mike and we’re going to
go back and forth,” he said. “Is that a deal?”
After the first lady spoke her differing opinion to the preacher through his microphone, Officer Adams with
the Toronto police walked up to him.
“You’re causing a disturbance right now,” he said to the preacher. “Guys, everybody, by staying and
listening to it, you’re helping him get his message out.”
The preacher accused Adams of taking sides.
“I’m telling my religion,” he said. “Is there something wrong with that?”
Officer Pasini came to aid Adams and told the preacher he was “promoting hate words.”
“Pack it up,” Adams said near the end of the recorded footage.
Regardless of the views expressed by participants in both of these incidents, people should never incite
violence against those engaging in free speech.
The freedom of expression is a right. Like any other inalienable right, it should never be suppressed.
Several dozen U.S. Army active duty and reserve troops
were told last week that the American Family Association, a well-respected Christian ministry, should be
classified as a domestic hate group because the group advocates for traditional family values.
The briefing was held at Camp Shelby in Mississippi and listed the AFA alongside domestic hate groups like
the Ku Klux Klan, Neo-Nazis, the Black Panthers and the Nation of Islam.
A soldier who attended the briefing contacted me and sent me a photograph of a slide show presentation that
listed AFA as a domestic hate group. Under the AFA headline is a photograph of Westboro Baptist Church preacher
Fred Phelps holding a sign reading “No special law for f***.”
The controversy is centered around Houston’s so-called
“bathroom bill,” a law passed in June that allows members of the opposite sex to use each other’s restrooms.
Houston residents responded by collecting 50,000 signatures to get the measure repealed, three times the amount
required to put the issue on the ballot.
However, lesbian Mayor Annise Parker and City Attorney David Feldman rejected the petition,
prompting its supporters and the Alliance Defending Freedom to file a lawsuit, Woodfill v. Parker.
The city shot back by demanding that pastors opposed to the law hand over “communications
with church members” to determine which pastors have “opposed or criticized the city.”
According to former Harris County GOP chairman Jared Woodfill, the city’s actions represent
a brazen attack on the First Amendment.http://www.infowars.com/houston-deman...

Media goes beyond disagreement in push for chilling effect
against free speech
Kit Daniels

Political pundits are now flooding the airwaves to not
just disagree with Duck Dynasty star Phil Robertson but to also declare that he is engaging in “hate speech” –
setting a precedent for a future chilling effect on non-establishment viewpoints. This morning, a panel group on CNN declared that Robertson’s recent comments in GQ
magazine was “dangerous hate speech.”
“He has every right to say what he feels about homosexuality and calling it a sin, but to tie it to something
like bestiality, which isn’t even true, may be harmful because there are a lot of kids who are gay who are bullied
because of comments like this,” CNN anchor Carol Costello said. “Isn’t that dangerous?”
“This man has attacked an entire group of people with horrific defamation,” Huffington Post contributor
Michelangelo Signorile said. “There should be ramifications. There should be outrage.”
“It seems like, to me, a vagina – as a man – would be more desirable than a man’s anus,” he said. “That’s just
me.”
“I’m just thinking: There’s more there! She’s got more to offer. I mean, come on, dudes! You know what I’m
saying? But hey, sin: It’s not logical, my man. It’s just not logical.”
Drew Magary of GQ also asked Robertson what he thought was sinful.
“Start with homosexual behavior and just morph out from there,” he responded. “Bestiality, sleeping around with
this woman and that woman and that woman and those men.”
“Don’t be deceived. Neither the adulterers, the idolaters, the male prostitutes, the homosexual offenders, the
greedy, the drunkards, the slanderers, the swindlers… they won’t inherit the kingdom of God. Don’t deceive
yourself. It’s not right.”
Will CNN and other liberals also start blaming Christian churches for violent crimes as they do with gun
manufacturers?
The point here isn’t about what Phil Robertson said or his Christian lifestyle; rather, it’s the mainstream
response to his opinion that goes way beyond disagreeing with him.
They are using this to push an anti-free speech agenda designed to keep anyone from speaking out against
viewpoints propagated by the establishment.

Criticizing Islam Now a Thought Crime!
Political party leader Paul Weston was arrested by police and faces up to two years in jail for
criticizing the religion of Islam during a public speech in the United Kingdom.
Weston's "racially aggravated" hate crime consisted of him quoting Winston Churchill.
Weston's arrest reveals the chilling implementation of thought crime in Britain and how political
correctness is being used as a weapon with which to destroy the edifice of freedom of speech across the western
world.
Ben Swann talks about the role of the first amendment as much more than just a
recognition of your right to speech, or just the press.. it is the recognition of your right to believe, say and
