1. U.S. acceptance of coexistence as the only alternative to
atomic war.
2. U.S. willingness to capitulate in preference to engaging in
atomic war.
3. Develop the illusion that total disarmament [by] the United
States would be a demonstration of moral strength.
4. Permit free trade between all nations regardless of Communist
affiliation and regardless of whether or not items could be used for war.
5. Extension of long-term loans to Russia and Soviet
satellites.
6. Provide American aid to all nations regardless of Communist
domination.
7. Grant recognition of Red China. Admission of Red China to the
U.N.
8. Set up East and West Germany as separate states in spite of
Khrushchev's promise in 1955 to settle the German question by free elections under supervision of the
U.N.
9. Prolong the conferences to ban atomic tests because the United
States has agreed to suspend tests as long as negotiations are in progress.
10. Allow all Soviet satellites individual representation in the
U.N.
11. Promote the U.N. as the only hope for mankind. If its charter
is rewritten, demand that it be set up as a one-world government with its own independent armed forces. (Some
Communist leaders believe the world can be taken over as easily by the U.N. as by Moscow. Sometimes these two
centers compete with each other as they are now doing in the Congo.)
12. Resist any attempt to outlaw the Communist
Party.
13. Do away with all loyalty oaths.
14. Continue giving Russia access to the U.S. Patent
Office.
15. Capture one or both of the political parties in the United
States.
16. Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic
American institutions by claiming their activities violate civil rights.
17.
Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda.
Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers' associations. Put the party line in
textbooks.
18. Gain control of all student newspapers.
19. Use student riots to foment public protests against programs
or organizations which are under Communist attack.
20.
Infiltrate the press. Get control of book-review assignments, editorial writing, policy-making
positions.
21.
Gain control of key positions in radio, TV, and motion pictures.
22. Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all forms
of artistic expression. An American Communist cell was told to "eliminate all good sculpture from parks and
buildings, substitute shapeless, awkward and meaningless forms."
23. Control art critics and directors of art museums. "Our plan
is to promote ugliness, repulsive, meaningless art."
24.
Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them "censorship" and a violation of free speech and free
press.
25.
Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion
pictures, radio, and TV.
26.
Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as "normal, natural,
healthy."
27.
Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with "social" religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize
the need for intellectual maturity, which does not need a "religious crutch."
28.
Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground that it violates the
principle of "separation of church and state."
29. Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate,
old-fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide
basis.
30. Discredit the American Founding Fathers. Present them as
selfish aristocrats who had no concern for the "common man."
31. Belittle all forms of American culture and discourage the
teaching of American history on the ground that it was only a minor part of the "big picture." Give more
emphasis to Russian history since the Communists took over.
32. Support any socialist movement to give centralized control
over any part of the culture--education, social agencies, welfare programs, mental health clinics,
etc.
33. Eliminate all laws or procedures which interfere with the
operation of the Communist apparatus.
34. Eliminate the House Committee on Un-American
Activities.
35. Discredit and eventually dismantle the
FBI.
36. Infiltrate and gain control of more
unions.
37. Infiltrate and gain control of big
business.
38. Transfer some of the powers of arrest from the police to
social agencies. Treat all behavioral problems as psychiatric disorders which no one but psychiatrists can
understand [or treat].
39. Dominate the psychiatric profession and use mental health
laws as a means of gaining coercive control over those who oppose Communist goals.
40.
Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy
divorce.
41. Emphasize the need to raise children away from the negative
influence of parents. Attribute prejudices, mental blocks and retarding of children to suppressive influence of
parents.
42. Create the impression that violence and insurrection are
legitimate aspects of the American tradition; that students and special-interest groups should rise up and use
["]united force["] to solve economic, political or social problems.
43. Overthrow all colonial governments before native populations
are ready for self-government.
44. Internationalize the Panama Canal.
45. Repeal the Connally reservation so the United States cannot
prevent the World Court from seizing jurisdiction [over domestic problems. Give the World Court jurisdiction]
over nations and individuals alike.

This video is just a brief introduction to a very serious subject. There are six books listed at the end which will go much further into the subject.
6th Graders Asked to Design “Communist” Flag Curriculum used in 70 per cent of schools districts in
Texas labeled
Paul Joseph Watson 6th graders are being asked to design new flags for communist countries in school districts across Texas as part of a curriculum critics have decried as “mind control” intended to make children sympathize with socialist ideals. Creators of CSCOPE, an electronic curriculum management system used in over 70 per cent of school districts in Texas, were confronted by witnesses and members of the Senate Education Committee during a hearing last week in Austin, who complained that the material included in the program was “anti-Christian at best and openly socialist at worst.” One lesson plan involved students being set the task of designing symbols for communist flags. The plan, “showed different countries’ flags and instructed students to “notice that socialist and communist countries use symbolism on their flags.” It went on to ask students what symbols they would use if they were to create a flag for a new socialist country.” Senator Larry Taylor questioned whether the lesson was intended to influence children into, “sympathizing with those types of countries.” Other lesson plans, which are included to ensure teachers, “adhere to complicated state curriculum requirements,” portrayed participants in the Boston Tea Party as terrorists while promoting pro-Islamic ideals. “Committee Chairman Dan Patrick, R-Houston, called it “a mess.” One witness compared the system to “mind control,” and an algebra teacher wept as he described quitting because he felt he was “aiding and abetting a crime” by using CSCOPE in his classroom,” reports the Associated Press. While children are being encouraged to explore socialist ideals, they are being punished for activities as American as mom and apple pie - such as an incident in Maryland where two 6-year-olds were suspended for pointing their fingers into gun shapes while playing “cops and robbers” with each other. Innumerable other similar incidents over the last two months where children have been targeted for playing with toy guns, or even imaginary weapons, have begun to characterize American schools as breeding grounds for hysteria, where basic constitutional ideas like the second amendment are treated with absolute disdain. Over the years, there have also been several incidents of children being suspended for “patriotic” drawings, such as pictures of a US Marine firing a weapon. A 7-year-old boy attending a Madison City School was suspended in December for drawing images of guns and having an “extensive knowledge of firearms.” The boy’s father is a firearms instructor. A student in Florence, Arizona was also suspended recently for having a picture of a gun as his desktop screensaver. As Mac Slavo points out, “Fundamental bedrock American principles protected under the US Constitution, such as the right to bear arms, are vilified by our government sponsored education system. Yet, promoting Communism, a system responsible for the democide of hundreds of millions of people over the last century (ironically, by way of the gun) is perfectly acceptable.”

School Test Teaches Kids: “Commands Of Government Officials Must Be Obeyed By All” Papers produced by global education corporation; Part
of
Steve Watson
A parent of a ten year old was shocked to discover a grammar and writing test paper that their child brought home from school reads more like document from an authoritarian country such as China. The parent sent a portion of the test paper to Infowars, revealing that it contains sentences such as “The commands of government officials must be obeyed by all.” The paper uses such sentences and asks school children to replace certain words in order to make the sentence contain a possessive noun. Others within the paper include:
Here is the portion of the paper Infowars received: Upon further investigation it appears that the paper is part of a set produced by Pearson Education, a global corporation that provides education publishing and assessment services to schools in the US and the rest of the world. Pearson is the world’s largest for-profit education business. The particular sentence about everyone obeying government commands appears in other Pearson papers, such as this fifth grade grammar test. According to the company’s Wikipedia page and its website, Pearson owns leading educational media brands including Addison–Wesley, BBC Active, Bug Club, eCollege, Fronter, Longman, MyEnglishLab, Penguin Readers, Prentice Hall, Poptropica and Financial Times Press. Pearson is part of Pearson PLC, which also owns Penguin Books and the Financial Times. In 2010, Pearson also negotiated a 5 year, $32 million, contract with the New York State Department of Education to design tests for students in grades 4-8. Some have criticized the company’s test papers. Last year papers designed for NYSED were found to contain over 30 errors. Writing for the New York Times, Gail Collins noted:
Collins outlines the fact that Pearson is being contracted under the controversial No Child Left Behind program set up by the government in 2001:
Collins continues: “[Pearson's] lobbyists include the guy who served as the top White House liaison with Congress on drafting the No Child law. It has its own nonprofit foundation that sends state education commissioners on free trips overseas to contemplate school reform.” Ah… all becomes clear. Government contracted education papers telling children that they must obey the commands of the government. Nice. Along with enforcing government mandated rules such as banning packed lunches, this will be seen by many as yet another example of how the nanny state is encroaching via the public education system. It’s a concept also being promoted by the mass media. Earlier this year, MSNBC ran a segment pushing the notion that kids belong to the “collective,” and that the “idea that kids belong to their parents or kids belong to their families” should be eliminated. These revelations also remind one of Common Core, federally mandated education principles, which are effectively dumbing down students by standardizing education across the board and shutting out diversity in teaching. —————————————————————- Steve Watson is the London based writer and editor for Alex Jones’ Infowars.com, and Prisonplanet.com. Feds Order School to Ban Packed Lunches Without Doctor’s Note Parents not allowed to provide non-GMO food
Paul Joseph Watson
A school in Richmond, Virginia is following federal government instructions by telling parents that they need to have a doctor’s note in order for their children to be allowed to bring packed lunches to school, another example of how the nanny state is encroaching via the public education system. A letter featured on the website Momdot.com instructs parents that packed lunches must be accompanied with a physician’s note.
The letter also includes a handwritten note from a teacher which reads, “Ms Brooks, Please do not send a lunch to school unless a doctor’s note is sent in connection with this letter.” The identity of the school remains unknown, but it is situated in Richmond, Virginia. The Federal Programs Preschool initiative is funded primarily by the Head Start Program, a Department of Health and Human Services scheme that provides education and nutritional support for children from low income families. Under Federal Programs Preschool, children are provided with breakfast, lunch and a snack. While informing parents that they cannot make a decision on their own child’s diet, the same school promotes the fact that they sell ice cream during P.E. lessons every week. In a separate post, another parent describes how their child was upset because she was the only student not able to buy nachos and lemonade, which were also being sold during P.E. lessons right before lunch. “So I suppose that sending a note that says “I choose to skip the GMO’s in the lunches you serve for a more balanced and safe diet as the parent of this child” doesn’t suffice?” writes Trisha Haas, adding that, “Homeschooling is looking better and better every day.” If parents want to pack a healthy, non-GMO lunch for their own children, and not have their kids snacking on preservative-laden nachos and ice cream, they’re out of luck, because the federal government says so, unless parents go through the ludicrous hassle of obtaining a doctor’s note beforehand. “So, now, at least one school wants children to have a doctor’s note to say no to the school lunch offerings of hormones, GMOs, preservatives, and grease. They must have the permission of a professional to avoid junk food. A parent’s good judgment is not sufficient, it seems, to make the healthy decision to provide a toxin-free lunch. Does anyone else see the irony here?” asks Daisy Luther. This is not the only example of school lunches being banned. Chicago’s Little Village Academy public school mandates students eat at the cafeteria or go hungry. Only children with allergies and a doctor’s note are allowed to bring a packed lunch. Many will see this as another form of creeping authoritarianism being introduced through the public education system, advancing the idea that the state and not parents have supreme authority over children. It’s a concept also being promoted by the mass media. Earlier this year, MSNBC ran a segment pushing the notion that kids belong to the “collective,” and that the “idea that kids belong to their parents or kids belong to their families” should be eliminated.

TRACKING YOUR KIDS!
N.Y.’s Data Collection Program Tracks Students From Preschool to Career Program will allow state and federal agencies to access student records
Kit Daniels New York’s new, multi-agency surveillance program will collect data on public school students, starting from preschool to their entry into the workforce and potentially throughout their entire lives. Developed by the New York State Education Department, funded by the federal government and promoted by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the P-20 data collection program allows government entities to share and access records for every student in the state with the overall goal of monitoring individuals from childhood to death. “By working in collaboration with other state agencies, the New York State Education Dept. will be able to establish a P-20 data system without duplication of effort and cost,” a U.S. Dept. of Education web site states. “It will allow NYSED and other agencies to link data without the need for agencies to unnecessarily add new regulations or seek legal policies to collect data out of their purview.” “In the end, it will provide a more robust state data system.” New York began development of the P-20 program as early as 2008 and has received over $40 million in federal and state grants since then, according to USA Today. The program was named P-20 to indicate the tracking of students from pre-kindergarten to around age 20 when they enter the workforce. “Data is painting a profile of a student that is richer and more valuable than ever before,” Jim Shelton, a U.S. Education Department official who previously worked for the Gates Foundation, said recently. He also added that the P-20 program leads to “progress.” Others, however, have pointed out the obvious privacy issues and Orwellian characteristics of this data collection. “This throws up so many red flags for me as a parent, a tech guy and an educator,” technology training specialist Brian Wasson said to USA Today. “As this develops, will they decide to use this data for more than research? “I don’t buy the rationale for it.” The real reason behind the program is to integrate personal records held by various government departments into a centralized database which can then be shared and accessed by a multitude of state and federal agencies. The idea for such a database existed as far back as 2002 when the New York Times reported that the Pentagon wanted to analyze Americans’ educational, criminal, financial, medical, and travel records in order to profile every citizen in the country. This goal came to fruition in the past year when the Dept. of Health and Human Services rolled out the Federal Data Services Hub, a comprehensive database which provides federal entities real-time, electronic access to dossiers on Americans compiled with information from the IRS, the Dept. of Homeland Security, the Justice Dept. and others. No doubt that the records collected under the P-20 program will also eventually appear in this data hub. This article was posted: Monday, January 27, 2014 at 2:54 pm
The Government Wants Your Children - or What is the P20 Council?
P20 Councils are education data collection boards set up in each state via state legislation. P stands for Pre-School and 20 stands for 20 years of age - the ages during which public schools will collect data on students for the state and federal governments to use and share. Each Council determines how and with whom to share educational data and what data will be collected. In Oklahoma, our P20 Council has made it known that they wish to collect data from home school students. Why? LINK : The NSA (National Security Agency)

KEVIN JENNINGS: OBAMA'S SAFE SCHOOLS CZAR, 2009-2011 |
It is curious why White House officials and Education Secretary Arne Duncan believe it's worth it politically to continue taking arrows for defending Kevin Jennings, who is Mr. Obama's controversial "safe schools czar." The evidence suggesting he is unfit to serve as a senior presidential appointee is startling and plentiful. It was revealed this week that Mr. Jennings was involved in promoting a reading list for children 13 years old or older that made the most explicit sex between children and adults seem normal and acceptable. This brought up anew Mr. Jennings' past controversies, such as his seeming encouragement of sex between one of his high school students and a much older man as well as his praise for Harry Hay, a notorious supporter of the North American Man Boy Love Association.
But there is more. There are shocking new revelations this week of tape recordings from a youth conference involving 14-year-old students. The conference, billed as a forum to encourage tolerance of homosexuality, was sponsored by Mr. Jennings' organization and was held at Tufts University in March 2000. Mr. Jennings was executive director of the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN) from its founding in 1995 until August 2008. The conference sessions appear to have had less to do with promoting tolerance and more to do with teaching children how to engage in sex.
Andrew Breitbart's Biggovernment.com provides tapes of some of the sessions. Describing the subject matter as smut would be putting it lightly. The conference discussions were very graphic and cannot be relayed in full detail in a family newspaper. A few examples are sufficient to describe the depravity of the subject matter. During one session about oral sex, a presenter asked the 14-year-old students: "Spit or swallow? Is it rude?" In another session, the 14-year-olds are taught about a gross practice called "fisting," in which "the man leading the discussion position[ed] his hand and show[ed] 14-year-olds how to insert their entire hand into the rectum of their sex partner."
Teaching children sexual techniques is simply not appropriate. Unfortunately, it is part of a consistent pattern by some homosexual activists to promote underage homosexuality while pretending that their mission is simply to promote tolerance for so-called alternative lifestyles. It is outrageous that someone involved in this scandal is being paid by the taxpayers to serve in a high-powered position at the Education Department, of all places. At some point, Mr. Duncan, Mr. Jennings, Obama administration spokesmen and the president himself are going to have to start answering questions about all this. Refusing to do so won't make the issue go away.

Obama: Sex Ed for Kindergartners ‘Is the Right Thing to Do’
Terence P. Jeffrey
CNS News
August 30, 2013
The Chicago Public Schools this year are mandating that the district’s kindergarten classes include sex education, fulfilling a proposal President Barack Obama supported in 2003 when he served in the Illinois state senate and later defended when he ran for president in the 2008 election cycle.
At a Planned Parenthood convention at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Washington, D.C., on July 17, 2007, a teenage girl who said she worked as a sex-education “peer educator” in the D.C. public schools asked then-U.S. Sen. Obama what he would do to encourage the teaching of “medically accurate, age-appropriate, and responsible sex education.”
Obama first noted that he had worked with Planned Parenthood to push a sex education bill when he served in the Illinois state legislature.

Wisconsin schools introduce masturbation in fourth grade, everything else by sixth
A sixth-grade objective is to “define sexual intercourse, including oral and anal intercourse.”
By Ryan Ekvall Wisconsin Reporter
MADISON – Parents, do you know your
elementary school’s masturbation education policy?
OLD ENOUGH?: Some Wisconsin school districts have authorized sexual education, including topics such as
masturbation, at elementary schools.
OLD ENOUGH?: Some Wisconsin school districts have authorized sexual education, including topics such as masturbation, at elementary schools.
The Oak Creek School District developed a booklet for parents of elementary students to help them “understand how staff and outside resource people will handle these sensitive topics.”
Sensitive topics, indeed.
The elementary school booklet covers masturbation, sexual intercourse, sexual orientation, abortion and contraception.
The booklet is a complement to the Human Growth and Development curriculum that takes various forms throughout public school districts across the state.
It’s unclear how prevalent the Human Growth and Development curriculum is throughout the state. However, a 2012 law changed several requirements of school districts that do offer Human Growth and Development.
Those changes include:
Other topics, such as masturbation, are open to the school board’s discretion.
In Oak Creek, parents can pick up the booklet at school during registration, according to Sara Burmeister, the school district superintendent. Parents also are sent letters before specific topics are taught and can opt their children out of the curriculum, though Burmeister says that rarely happens.
School boards, too, can opt not to offer Human Growth and Development.
When it comes to a grade-schooler’s questions about masturbation, staff will first define the term “the stimulation of one’s own genitals for the purpose of achieving sexual pleasure.”
Staff, though, are advised not to answer questions of personal sexual experience.
The handbook also directs staff to explain that some people masturbate and some do not. And encourages staff to “help students understand that attitudes toward masturbation may be a strong part of family values and beliefs and opinions often vary.”
Students, according to the handbook, will “be encouraged to talk to parents in order to help them develop their own values and beliefs about masturbation.”
Burmeister said the language in the booklet doesn’t mean masturbation will be discussed with or taught to students of any grade level. Staff can decide whether they should answer a child’s questions on masturbation and other sensitive topics.
“All it does is say this is how we define these terms at the appropriate grade level when it comes up,” she said. “So parents will know if their kid asks ‘What is this?’ parents will know how our committee defines the terms as we would use them in the schools. Sometimes kids are too young and you can say to them, and I know I did with my kids, ‘That’s something you don’t have to worry about now.’”
“We are more of a conservative community,” she said.
In the McFarland School District, in addition to similar policies for discussing masturbation, an objective for third graders is to discuss suicide.
A sixth-grade objective is to “define sexual intercourse, including oral and anal intercourse.”
McFarland school officials did not return calls from Wisconsin Reporter.
How much discretion should elementary schools and school boards have regarding teaching about sexually related topics?
Is this something the schools should teach, or would you prefer the alternative: “Go ask your parents”?

Chicago Proposes Sex Ed
For Kindergartners
WKEF-TV / ABC 22 News
February 27, 2013
Chicago public schools students get their sex education in the fifth grade as most do in the U.S., but CPS wants to change that, so the instruction begins at age 5.
Parents who are uncomfortable with the new policy will be able to opt out. CPS says the curriculum will conform to each age group. For example, kindergartners through third graders will learn about their anatomy, all living things that reproduce, and appropriate and inappropriate touching. While fourth graders will focus on puberty and HIV/AIDs. It’s not until after fifth grade that teachers will lead discussions about human reproduction, contraception and abstinence.
The proposed policy follows the “national sexuality education standards” put together by four health organizations.

21 Signs That U.S. Public Schools Have Become Training Centers For Sexual Deviancy
Michael Snyder
American Dream
Feb 18, 2013
Why do men and women have a such a hard time relating to each other in a meaningful way in America today? Could our oversexed culture have anything to do with it? In the United States today, we are constantly being bombarded with sexual messages. Just think about it. Did you watch the Super Bowl a few weeks ago? Most of the commercials were about sex on some level, and the “halftime show” featuring Beyonce might as well have been a strip club act. It was utterly shameful. But in America today, all of this is considered to be “normal”. We literally worship sex, and we can never get enough of it. And of course the results of such a society are predictable. There are 20 million new sexually-transmitted infections in the U.S. each year, we have the highest teen pregnancy rate on the planet, and it is estimated that one out of every four girls in the U.S. is sexually abused before they become adults. This culture of sex is pushed on our children from a very early age, and at this point it would be quite accurate to say that U.S. public schools have become training centers for sexual deviancy. A lot of people focus on “sex education” as the problem, but the truth is that it goes much deeper than that. Sex education only lasts for a few weeks at most. The much bigger problem is the fact that an obsession with sex literally permeates our schools. If parents could only eavesdrop on the conversations that our teens are having, they would be absolutely horrified. Thanks to endless brainwashing by the mainstream media, our teens are absolutely addicted to a sexual atmosphere. Every form of entertainment that they enjoy is soaked with sexual imagery, and lust and sex are never far from their minds when they relate to members of the opposite sex (or sometimes the same sex). So should we really be surprised that students are having sex with each other in the hallways of our schools? Should we be surprised that young teachers are taking advantage of our students sexually behind closed doors? We have created a society that is sexually supercharged, and what we are witnessing now are the predictable results of the very foolish decisions that we have made.
The following are 21 signs that U.S. public schools have become training centers for sexual deviancy…
#1 There is a raging epidemic of sexually-transmitted diseases among our young people. According to the latest figures released by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control, there are 20 million new sexually-transmitted infections in the United States every single year, and Americans between the ages of 15 and 24 account for approximately 50 percent of those new sexually-transmitted infections.
#2 Many of our teens our catching diseases that they can’t even pronounce correctly. There were more than 1.4 million cases of chlamydia reported in the United States in 2011. An astounding 33 percent of those cases involved Americans that were younger than 20 years of age.
#3 At this point, one out of every four teen girls in the U.S. has at least one sexually transmitted disease. How high does that number have to go before we admit that there is a problem?
#4 Apparently, all of the propaganda about “safe sex” is not really working very well. According to one survey, 24 percent of all U.S. teens that have an STD say that they still have unprotected sex.
#5 When you take morality out of public life, the results are predictable. In the United States today, approximately 47 percent of all high school students have had sex.
#6 Many of our young people seem to not understand the value of waiting until marriage to become a mother. Amazingly, one out of every five teen girls in the U.S. actually wants to be a teenage mother.
#7 When I was growing up, I don’t remember a single girl being pregnant at my high school. But today all of that has changed. A couple of years ago it was being reported that 86 teen girls at one high school in Memphis, Tennessee were either pregnant or had recently given birth.
#8 If you can believe it, the United States has the highest teen pregnancy rate on the entire planet. In fact, the United States has a teen pregnancy rate that is more than twice as high as Canada, more than three times as high as France and more than seven times as high as Japan.
#9 Increasingly, oral sex is being promoted to our young people as a “safer” form of sex. According to shocking research conducted by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, approximately two-thirds of all Americans in the 15 to 24 year old age bracket have engaged in oral sex.
#10 Sex “education” has become much more about “indoctrination” in recent years. One recent example of this trend was detailed in the New York Times…
IMAGINE you have a 10- or 11-year-old child, just entering a public middle school. How would you feel if, as part of a class ostensibly about the risk of sexually transmitted diseases, he and his classmates were given “risk cards” that graphically named a variety of solitary and mutual sex acts? Or if, in another lesson, he was encouraged to disregard what you told him about sex, and to rely instead on teachers and health clinic staff members?
That prospect would horrify most parents. But such lessons are part of a middle-school curriculum that Dennis M. Walcott, the New York City schools chancellor, has recommended for his system’s newly mandated sex-education classes. There is a parental “opt out,” but it is very limited, covering classes on contraception and birth control.
#11 Sexual “experimentation” among our teens is reaching heights never seen before. According to one recent study, sexual contact between teen girls in the United States is now at the highest level ever recorded.
#12 In America today, sex in public school hallways has become a common occurrence. In a recent article about Detroit, I shared a quote from one of my readers that actually attended one of the “best” public schools in Detroit…
The school was a new seven story building just a couple of years old. The bathrooms would often lack toilet paper & soap beyond the second floor (the main floor), the bathroom sinks would often not work. The water fountains on north side of the building on from the third floor & up did not work. The elevators would constantly break down. I even got stuck on the elevator before. I almost tripped down a half a flight of stairs because the elastic seal (it was the metal bar at the front of a treader of I don’t know the name of it.) the stairs was not properly installed.
Students would often have sex on the stairs & throughout the school. Parents actually called the school many times & reported kids having sex on the stairs because all of them had glass windows 270 degrees.
#13 Would you feel okay about your teenage girl sharing a bathroom with boys? In the state of Massachusetts, boys will now be able to freely use girls restrooms and girls locker rooms if it makes them feel more “comfortable”.
#14 One of the results of our “culture of sex” has been an explosion in the number of babies being born outside of marriage. For women under the age of 30 living in the United States today, more than half of all babies are being born out of wedlock.
#15 Being a single parent is incredibly hard, but more U.S. children are being raised by just one parent than ever before. At this point, more than one out of every four children in the United States is being raised by a single parent.
#16 Thanks to our “sexual revolution”, men and women are having a harder time than ever relating to each other in a meaningful way. Our young people are being taught that marriage is a “burden” and that they should delay it for as long as possible. Today, an all-time low 44.2 percent of all Americans between the ages of 25 and 34 are married.
#17 There is an epidemic of sex between teachers and students in the United States. In fact, for some teachers one student is just simply not enough. For example, a 33-year-old art teacher down in Arizona was charged with having sexwith four of her male students.
#18 A former high school English teacher down in Texas has that teacher beat. She has been accused of having sex with five different male students. The most disturbing part of her story is that she is a mother of three children and her husband is serving this country in the U.S. Army.
#19 But a high school teacher down in Georgia has both of them beat. She was recently charged with having sex with seven of her students.
#20 Sometimes even teachers that have been convicted of having sex with a student cannot stop themselves. For example, there was one case where a probation officer found a student that a teacher had been convicted of having sex with previously hiding in her closet…
Lisa Lavoie, the former Holyoke teacher who plead guilty after having a relationship with a student, has been charged with violating her probation after the student she had a relationship with was found hiding in her closet.
Back in February 2009, Lavoie ran off with one of her students, who was 15-year-old at the time. Lavoie was a teacher at the Donahue School on Whiting Farms Road in Holyoke.
The pair was found several days later in a motel room in West Virginia. Lavoie pleaded guilty to three counts of statutory rape and one count of enticement of a child in January 2011. She was sentenced to five years probation.
#21 Sadly, there are more stories of teachers having sex with their students in the news almost every single day. The following are just a few of the teacher sex news stories from just this past week…
“N.J. teacher, baseball instructor, admits to sex with 14-year-old girl, authorities say”
“Sheriff’s deputy and teacher arrested on charges of sexual exploitation of a child in Douglas County”
“Onamia Teacher Accused Of Having Sex With Student”
“Former Mesquite teacher pleads guilty to sexual relationship with student”
“Pregnant teacher says sex with teen ‘just happened’”
Are you starting to see that there is a problem?
What are you seeing where you live?
Do you believe that U.S. public schools have become training centers for sexual deviancy?

28 Signs That U.S. Public Schools Are Rapidly Being
Turned Into Indoctrination Centers And Prison Camps
By Michael Snyder, on December 30th, 2011
It has been said that children are our future, and right now the vast majority of our children are being “educated” in public schools that are rapidly being turned into indoctrination centers and prison camps. Our children desperately need to focus on the basics such as reading, writing and math, but instead a whole host of politicians, “education officials” and teachers are constantly injecting as much propaganda as they possibly can into classroom instruction. Instead of learning how to think, our children are continually being told what to think. Not only that, our children are also being trained how to live as subservient slaves in a Big Brother police state. Today, nearly everything that children do in public schools is watched, monitored, recorded and tracked. Independent thought and free expression are greatly discouraged and are often cracked down upon harshly. If students get “out of line”, instead of being sent to see the principal they are often handcuffed, arrested and taken to the police station. In addition, law enforcement authorities are using weapons such as pepper spray and tasers against young students in our public schools more than ever before. Children in U.S. public schools are not learning how to live as strong individuals in the “land of the free and the home of the brave”. Rather, they are being trained how to serve a Big Brother police state where control freaks run their entire lives. If we continue to allow all of the liberty and freedom to be systematically drained out of our school children, then there is not going to be much hope for the future of this nation.
The following are 28 signs that U.S public schools are being turned into indoctrination centers and prison camps….
#1 All 50 U.S. states are now constructing federally-mandated databases that will track the behavior and performance of all public school students in America throughout their entire school careers. According to the New York Post, the Obama administration wants to use the information that is gathered for a wide array of purposes….
The administration wants this data to include much more than name, address and test scores. According to the National Data Collection Model, the government should collect information on health-care history, family income and family voting status. In its view, public schools offer a golden opportunity to mine reams of data from a captive audience.
#2 All over America, school children are being immersed in the radical green agenda. In fact, in many areas of the country children are actively trained to watch how their parents behave and to correct them when they are being “environmentally unfriendly”. The following is from a recent New York Times article about this phenomenon….
“I have very, very environmentally conscious children — more so than me, I’m embarrassed to say,” said Ms. Ross, a social worker in Dobbs Ferry, N.Y. “They’re on my case about getting a hybrid car. They want me to replace all the light bulbs in the house with energy-saving bulbs.”
Ms. Ross’s children are part of what experts say is a growing army of “eco-kids” — steeped in environmentalism at school, in houses of worship, through scouting and even via popular culture — who try to hold their parents accountable at home. Amid their pride in their children’s zeal for all things green, the grown-ups sometimes end up feeling like scofflaws under the watchful eye of the pint-size eco-police, whose demands grow ever greater, and more expensive.
Later on in that same article, a district superintendent is quoted as saying that they try to inject the green agenda wherever they can into the curriculum….
“We’re trying to integrate it into anything where it naturally fits,” said Jackie Taylor, the district’s superintendent. “It might be in a math lesson. How much water are you really using? How can you tell? Teachers look for avenues in almost everything they teach.”
#3 One 13-year-old student down in New Mexico was recently handcuffed and forcibly removed from a classroom just because he burped in class. In all, over 200 students in Bernalillo County “have been handcuffed and arrested in the last three years for non-violent misdemeanors”.
#4 All over America, students are being taught that the First Amendment does not apply in public schools. Expressions of free speech in school are often cracked down upon very hard. For example, one group of high school athletes was recently suspended for “Tebowing” in the hallways of their school.
#5 Many public school sex education classes have totally crossed the line. Instead of just “educating” children about sex, many sex ed courses are now “indoctrinating” children about sex. One recent example of this was detailed in the New York Times….
#6 Sadly, this “sexual indoctrination” appears to be working. According to one recent study, sexual conduct between teen girls in the United States is now at the highest level ever recorded.
#7 Putting kids in jail has become standard operating procedure in the United States. Today, nearly one-third of all Americans are arrested by police by the time they reach the age of 23. At this point, the United States has the highest incarceration rate in the world and the largest total prison population on the entire globe, and yet our society just continues to become more unstable.
#8 In some U.S. schools, RFID chips are now being used to monitor the attendance and movements of children while they are at school. The following is how one article recently described a program that has just been instituted at a preschool in California….
Upon arriving in the morning, according to the Associated Press, each student at the CCC-George Miller preschool will don a jersey with a stitched in RFID chip. As the kids go about the business of learning, sensors in the school will record their movements, collecting attendance for both classes and meals. Officials from the school have claimed they’re only recording information they’re required to provide while receiving federal funds for their Headstart program.
#9 Increasingly, incidents of misbehavior at many U.S. schools are being treated as very serious crimes. For example, when a little girl kissed a little boy at one Florida elementary school recently, it was considered to be a “possible sex crime” and the police were called out.
#10 Even 5-year-old children are now being handcuffed and arrested by police in public schools. The following is from a recent article that described what happened to one very young student in Stockton, California earlier this year….
Earlier this year, a Stockton student was handcuffed with zip ties on his hands and feet, forced to go to the hospital for a psychiatric evaluation and was charged with battery on a police officer. That student was 5 years old.
#11 A teenager in suburban Dallas was recently forced to take on a part-time job after being ticketed for using bad language in one high school classroom. The original ticket was for $340, but additional fees have raised the total bill to $637.
#12 It is not just high school kids that are being ticketed by police. In Texas the crackdown extends all the way down to elementary school students. In fact, it has been reported that Texas police gave “1,000 tickets” to elementary school kids over a recent six year period.
#13 Our children are being programmed to accept the fact that they will be watched and monitored constantly. For example, the U.S. Department of Agriculture is spending large amounts of money to install surveillance cameras in the cafeterias of public schools all across the nation so that government control freaks can closely monitor what our children are eating.
#14 If you can believe it, a “certified TSA official” was recently brought in to oversee student searches at the Santa Fe High School prom.
#15 Last year, a 17 year-old honor student in North Carolina named Ashley Smithwick accidentally took her father’s lunch with her to school. It contained a small paring knife which he would use to slice up apples. So what happened to this standout student when the school discovered this? The school suspended her for the rest of the year and the police charged her with a misdemeanor.
#16 According to blogger Alexander Higgins, students in kindergarten and the 1st grade in the state of New Jersey are now required by law to participate “in monthly anti-terrorism drills”. The following is an excerpt from a letter that he recently received from the school where his child attends….
Each month a school must conduct one fire drill and one security drill which may be a lockdown, bomb threat, evacuation, active shooter, or shelter-in place drill. All schools are now required by law to implement this procedure.
So who in the world ever decided that it would be a good idea for 1st grade students to endure “lockdown” and “active shooter” drills? To get an idea of what these kinds of drills are like, just check out this video.
#17 In some U.S. schools, armed cops accompanied by police dogs actually conduct surprise raids with their guns drawn. In this video, you can actually see police officers aiming their guns at school children as the students are lined up facing the wall.
#18 The U.S. government is now encouraging children to spy on their parents as part of the “war on terror”. If a school official hears that a parent has said the “wrong thing” at home, that parent could potentially get labeled as a “potential terrorist”.
#19 The U.S. government has also been increasingly using “polls” and “surveys” as tools to gather information about all of us. In previous articles, I have noted how government authorities seems particularly interested in our children. According to Mike Adams of Natural News, the CDC is starting to call parents all over the U.S. to question them about the vaccination status of their children….
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control, which has been comprehensively exposed as a vaccine propaganda organization promoting the interests of drug companies, is now engaged in a household surveillance program that involves calling U.S. households and intimidating parents into producing child immunization records. As part of what it deems a National Immunization Survey(NIS), the CDC is sending letters to U.S. households, alerting them that they will be called by “NORC at the University of Chicago” and that households should “have your child’s immunization records handy when answering our questions.”
You can see a copy of the letter that the CDC has been sending out to selected parents right here.
#20 Last year, a high school student in Southern California was suspended for two days because he had private conversations with his classmates during which he discussed Christianity. He was also banned from bringing his Bible to school ever again.
#21 In early 2010, a 12 year old girl in New York was arrested by police and marched out of her school in handcuffs just because she doodled on her desk. “I love my friends Abby and Faith” was what she reportedly wrote on her desk.
#22 Back in 2009, one 8 year old boy in Massachusetts was sent home from school and was forced to undergo a psychological evaluation because he drew a picture of Jesus on the cross.
#23 A little over a year ago, a 6 year old girl in Florida was handcuffed and sent to a mental facility after throwing temper tantrums at her elementary school.
#24 Other students in Florida have actually been arrested for bringing a plastic butter knife to school, for throwing an eraser, and for drawing a picture of a gun.
#25 Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli has announced that school officials can search the cell phones and laptops of public school students if there are “reasonable grounds for suspecting that the search will turn up evidence that the student has violated or is violating either the law or the rules of the school.”
#26 Increasingly, authorities are using “pre-crime” technology on our children in order to identify potential problem individuals. For example, the Florida State Department of Juvenile Justice has announced that it will begin using analysis software to predict crime by young delinquents and will place “potential offenders” in specific prevention and education programs.
#27 At one public high school in McAllen, Texas earlier this year, students were ordered to stand up and recite the Mexican national anthem and Mexican pledge of allegiance. School authorities have failed to explain how reciting a pledge of allegiance to a foreign nation has any educational value whatsoever.
#28 All over the United States, tasers are increasingly being used to “subdue” high school students. The following are two very shocking examples of this that were cited in a recent Alternet article….
On September 29, Keshana Wilson, 14, was shocked in the groin with a Taser while shoved against a parked car by Allentown, Pennsylvania police officer Jason Ammary, just outside her high school. The incident was captured on surveillance footage. Allentown police argue that the officer’s behavior was justified because “Wilson was cursing and inciting a group of people” as well as resisting arrest. While defending his fellow officer, Allentown Assistant Police Chief Joseph Hanna argued, “officers are trained to use the justified amount of force dictated by the actions of the resister, not their age or gender.”
Zahrod Jackson, a 17-year-old student, “was eligible to receive free lunch” at Middletown High School in Connecticut, according to a June report in the Middletown Press. Last September, Jackson exited the cafeteria line with a slice of pizza, but returned for a beef patty after spotting both pizza and a beef patty on the tray of a student who also receives free lunch. A screaming match ensued between Jackson and a cafeteria worker who accused the teen of stealing. The commotion quickly caught the eyes of SROs Kurt Scrivo, who “threw Jackson onto the cafeteria floor,” and Alex Rodriguez, who Tasered him five times.
So is all of this brutal repression helping our children get a better education?
Of course not.
The truth is that the American population is rapidly being “dumbed-down”.
Today, American 15-year-olds do not even rank in the top half of all advanced nations when it comes to math or science literacy.
Not only that, our public schools are also producing kids that are woefully unprepared for college. The United States once had the highest proportion of young adults with post-secondary degrees in the world. Today, the U.S. has fallen to 12th.
Our public education system absolutely stinks and it is getting worse all the time.
I went to public schools all of my life, but I would never want to send my children to public schools now. They are going downhill really, really fast.
Just sending different politicians to Washington D.C. is not going to change the course of this nation. We need a complete political, economic, educational, moral, spiritual and philosophical renewal. Right now America is becoming a little more like North Korea every day. If we continue on this path there will be absolutely no future for our children and our grandchildren.
It is absolutely disgusting that our public schools are being transformed into indoctrination centers and prison camps. This is not what America is supposed to be about.
If we do not choose to stand up and fight for the future of this country, then we are going to get the future that we deserve.
19 Crazy Things That School Children Are Being Arrested For In America
American Dream
By Michael Snyder, on January 31st, 2012
With each passing year, the difference between America’s prisons and America’s public schools becomes smaller and smaller. As you read the rest of this article, you will be absolutely amazed at some of the crazy things that school children in America are being arrested for. When I was growing up, I don’t remember a single police officer ever coming to my school. Discipline was always handled by the teachers and by the principals. But today, there are schools all over the country that have police officers permanently stationed in the halls. Many other schools will call out police officers at the drop of a hat. In the classrooms of America today, if you burp in class, if you spray yourself with perfume or if you doodle on your desk, there is a chance that you will be arrested by the police and hauled out of your school in handcuffs. Unfortunately, we live in a country where paranoia has become standard operating procedure. The American people have become convinced that the only way that we can all be “safe” is for this country to be run like a militarized totalitarian police state. So our public schools are run like prisons and our public school students are treated like prisoners. The United States has the highest incarceration rate in the world by far, and our schools are preparing the next generation to either “do time” in the prison system or to live as good little slaves in the Big Brother prison grid that is being constructed all around us. But what our schools are not doing is giving these children the critical thinking skills that they need to live as free citizens in a nation that used to be “the land of the free and the home of the brave”.
Of course very few people would deny that the character of American schoolchildren has changed dramatically over the decades. Back in the 1950s, some of the biggest school discipline problems were gum chewing and hair pulling. Today, kids bring knives, guns and drugs with them to school. Gang activity is rampant in many of our schools and in some schools kids are even having sex in the school bathrooms.
So there is definitely a discipline problem in our schools.
But what is going on in many areas of the country is absolutely ridiculous. For example, in 2010 alone police down in Texas issued an astounding 300,000 tickets to school children.
Yes, if a kid pulls a knife on someone the police should get involved, but teachers and administrators should be able to use some common sense and handle the vast majority of discipline problems that happen themselves.
What you are about to read is absolutely going to amaze you. The following are 19 really crazy things that school children are being arrested for in America….
#1 At one public school down in Texas, a 12-year-old girl named Sarah Bustamantes was recently arrested for spraying herself with perfume.
#2 A 13-year-old student at a school in Albuquerque, New Mexico was recently arrested by police for burping in class.
#3 Another student down in Albuquerque was forced to strip down to his underwear while five adults watched because he had $200 in his pocket. The student was never formally charged with doing anything wrong.
#4 A security guard at one school in California broke the arm of a 16-year-old girl because she left some crumbs on the floor after cleaning up some cake that she had spilled.
#5 One teenage couple down in Houston poured milk on each other during a squabble while they were breaking up. Instead of being sent to see the principal, they were arrested and sent to court.
#6 In early 2010, a 12-year-old girl at a school in Forest Hills, New York was arrested by police and marched out of her school in handcuffs just because she doodled on her desk. “I love my friends Abby and Faith” was what she reportedly scribbled on her desk.
#7 A 6-year-old girl down in Florida was handcuffed and sent to a mental facility after throwing temper tantrums at her elementary school.
#8 One student down in Texas was reportedly arrested by police for throwing paper airplanes in class.
#9 A 17-year-old honor student in North Carolina named Ashley Smithwick accidentally took her father’s lunch with her to school. It contained a small paring knife which he would use to slice up apples. So what happened to this standout student when the school discovered this? The school suspended her for the rest of the year and the police charged her with a misdemeanor.
#10 In Allentown, Pennsylvania a 14-year-old girl was tasered in the groin area by a school security officer even though she had put up her hands in the air to surrender.
#11 Down in Florida, an 11-year-old student was arrested, thrown in jail and charged with a third-degree felony for bringing a plastic butter knife to school.
#12 Back in 2009, an 8-year-old boy in Massachusetts was sent home from school and was forced to undergo a psychological evaluation because he drew a picture of Jesus on the cross.
#13 A police officer in San Mateo, California blasted a 7-year-old special education student in the face with pepper spray because he would not quit climbing on the furniture.
#14 In America today, even 5-year-old children are treated brutally by police. The following is from a recent article that described what happened to one very young student in Stockton, California a while back….
Earlier this year, a Stockton student was handcuffed with zip ties on his hands and feet, forced to go to the hospital for a psychiatric evaluation and was charged with battery on a police officer. That student was 5 years old.
#15 At one school in Connecticut, a 17-year-old boy was thrown to the floor and tasered five times because he was yelling at a cafeteria worker.
#16 A teenager in suburban Dallas was forced to take on a part-time job after being ticketed for using foul language in one high school classroom. The original ticket was for $340, but additional fees have raised the total bill to $637.
#17 A few months ago, police were called out when a little girl kissed a little boy during a physical education class at an elementary school down in Florida.
#18 A 6-year-old boy was recently charged with sexual battery for some “inappropriate touching” during a game of tag at one elementary school in the San Francisco area.
#19 In Massachusetts, police were recently sent out to collect an overdue library book from a 5-year-old girl.
Unfortunately, what is going on in our schools is a reflection of the broader society as a whole. Our schools are being turned into prisons because our entire society is being turned into a giant prison.
Our nation is rapidly heading down the toilet, and the children of this nation do not have a bright future to look forward to.
If the police really want to find some criminals, they should start investigating some of the sickos that are in charge of some of these classrooms.
It seems like almost every day now there is a news story about some public school teacher that is involved in some kind of really perverted stuff.
For example, just check out what police down in Los Angeles recently found that one teacher was hiding….
A former Los Angeles elementary school teacher has been arrested for felony molestation of nearly two dozen students, accused of gagging children and putting live cockroaches on some of their faces. Deputies say the crimes were committed on campus.
Sickos who do that kind of stuff to kids should be punished very severely.
America’s schools are changing, and not for the better.
Personally, I went to public schools all my life, but I would not recommend that anyone send their kids to public schools today. There is just way too much crazy stuff that goes on.
And our kids are learning less than ever in these public schools. As I have written about previously, many of them are coming out of the system as dumb as a rock. Instead of teaching our kids how to think critically and examine all sides of an issue, these schools are indoctrinating our kids and pushing particular social and political agendas on them.
There are a few public schools out there that are still good, but the vast majority of them are horrible. They are not producing the leaders of tomorrow and they are not preparing the next generation with the tools that they need to survive in a complex world.
So is there much hope that our schools can be turned around? Feel free to leave a comment with your opinion below….
5 Things We Did As Kids
That Are Now Illegal
Cracked.com
Over the last few months, Downtrend has posted article after article showing how this country has become a police state and we no longer enjoy the freedoms we once did. Now, as Cracked.com recently pointed out, here are 5 examples of things that used to be commonplace that can now land you in jail.
1. Drawing on Desks
We have all done this at some point when we were kids. You’re sitting in class, bored and not listening to the teacher, and you start writing on the desk. Go into any school in America that doesn’t have brand new desks and you will find years of notes and art left behind by kids from the past.
This, however, is now a criminal offense. A 12-year old in Queens NY was walked out of school in handcuffs and held at a police station for vandalism after writing “I love my friends Abby and Faith” on a desk. And, she wasn’t the first.
In 2007 a 13 year old was arrested for writing “ok” on a desk in a New York intermediate school.
2. Opening Presents Early
While most of us wait until Christmas morning to open our presents, we all have heard of the kids who snuck into their parent’s room and got their presents early. Apparently, in South Carolina, this can lad you in jail.
After a young man pulled out one of his presents before Christmas morning and started playing with it, his own mother pressed larceny charges against him. What is even more amazing is police didn’t laugh in her face but instead actually took the boy into custody.
Now, you don’t have to worry about the naughty or nice list at Christmas: You have to think about bail.
3. Passing Notes
You want to tell the girl in front of you that you like her or let your friends know about a party coming up, so you pass a note to them in class. This has occurred countless numbers of times since we first started going to school and is a cultural standard that everyone understands. It has gotten worse with cell phones and texting, but the idea is the same.
However, now you can be escorted out of class by security for telling Jane you love her. A 14 year old from Wisconsin was booked for Disorderly conduct, hit with a $298 bail, and suspended from school for a week for texting her friends in class.
4. Smelling Bad
Middle school can be a bit pungent. Kids hitting puberty are starting too sweat and smell bad and many try to mask it with too much cologne and perfume. It can be tough to be around, but it’s not illegal, right? Wrong.
A 12 year old girl in Texas who had been teased about her smell started using perfume in an attempt to cover it up and apparently went a little overboard. The school’s reaction was to have her hauled out of class and charged with a misdemeanor.
5. Letting Your Kids Play Outside
“Stop watching TV and go out and play.”
In a society so concerned about childhood obesity, you would think this sentiment would be applauded. But, that’s not the case in Texas.
After a mother in Texas let her kids play in their quiet cul-de-sac on their scooters, while she sat in the yard and watched them, a neighbor called the police and reported her for child abandonment. She was arrested, her kids placed in child protective services, and she was charged with Child Endangerment.

So, parents and kids, beware. In today’s police state, nearly everything you do is illegal. Maybe it would be better if you just stay inside all the time and never leave your house. Then again, that would probably get you arrested, too.

A new bill has just been introduced in Ohio and it may be one of the most regressive bills in nation when it comes to the rights of homeschool famlies and parents.
It is called teddy’s law.
The backstory here, Teddy Foltz-Tedesco was 14 years-old when he was killed by his mother’s boyfriend Zaryl Bush. Teddy was reportedly being abused for at least 3 years. According to his father when teachers at school noticed signs of abuse and reported it, Teddy’s mother pulled him and his two siblings out of public school and began homeschooling them. Ultimately, teddy died from severe head trauma in january of 2013, after undergoing years of methodical abuse. His mother and her boyfriend are now serving prison time.
So now comes Teddy’s Law or SB 248. A new bill introduced December 3rd in the Ohio Senate by State Senator Capri Cafaro. So what does Teddy’s Law do?
According to Cafaro, “The bill creates protocols for those applying to educate a child at home by creating a link between the local public service children agency, and the education system.”
So what are the specifics here? Well, for one, Teddy’s Law takes the very unusual and unbelievably tragic case of Teddy Foltz-Tedesco and strips the rights of every homeschool family and parent in the state.
If passed, Teddy’s law would require background checks and interviews before the children are allowed to become a part of a homeschool or online program. So before a parent is allowed to teach their own children, social workers have to deem you fit.
School and child service officials would be able to access a statewide data base to determine whether there are past or current abuse investigations against anyone in the child’s household.
If there are records of child abuse by anyone in the household or if the interviews elicit negative information, it must be passed on to the local superintendent or educational leader.
According to Cafaro, “Once a complaint is acknowledged and a negative recommendation is given, the new school would have to delay or deny the admission to the home or Internet-based school program.”
Of course local media is reporting the predictiable story. The headlines… “Teddy’s Law Aims To Protect Children.” “Teddy’s Law Would Battle Child Abuse” But the part of the story the media isn’t telling you, that the death of Teddy, while heartbreaking is being mis-represented.
Why? Because Teddy was already in a public school for years while he was undergoing abuse at the hands of his mother’s boyfriend and while his mother allowed it to go on. Signs of abuse were seen by teachers, who reported it and it was Child Protective Services that left him in that home.
The question now being asked by groups like Homeschool Legal Defense, why did social workers who had the information in front of them not intervene in a serious way and enforce the already strong and existing child protection laws in Ohio?
State Senators pushing for this law will say, “if only we had known this kind of abuse was taking place Teddy could have been saved” but the truth is social workers and teachers DID KNOW THAT TEDDY WAS BEING ABUSED AND THEY DIDN’T STOP IT FROM HAPPENING
That is the the reality that homeschool families in Ohio and across the nation should be confronting lawmakers with.

A school teacher told a first grader that “Jesus is not allowed in school” while tearing off messages reciting a religious legend that the student attached to candy canes he brought for his class, a non-profit group claims.
Each candy cane that first grader Isaiah Martinez brought for his classmates at Merced Elementary came attached with the legend that a candy maker created candy canes to symbolize the life of Jesus Christ, which the teacher reportedly tore off of each cane and threw in the trash under the direction of the school principal.
After telling Martinez that “Jesus is not allowed in school,” the teacher handed him back his candy canes without the messages attached.
“Isaiah then nervously handed the candy canes to his classmates in fear that he was in trouble for trying to bring a little Christmas cheer and ‘good tidings’ to class,” the non-profit group Advocates for Faith & Freedom said in its press release.
The non-profit group demanded that the school in West Covina, California stop “officials from bullying and intimidating Christian and religiously-affiliated students.”
“Advocates for Faith & Freedom has experienced a surge in phone calls from students and their parents across the country who are victims of religiously motivated bullying; not bullying by other students, but bullying by teachers and school officials,” Robert Tyler, the general counsel for the group, stated. “The pendulum has swung so far in the opposite direction that public schools are becoming a place of hostility toward Christian and other religiously-based worldviews.”
“It’s time to push the pendulum back in the right direction where kids can experience true tolerance without religiously motivated hostility from their teachers and school officials.”
The message Martinez attached to the candy canes was presumably the folklore that a candy maker in 17th-century Germany designed the canes in reference to the shepherds who visited infant Jesus as he lay in his manger.
Additionally, the candy maker used the color white in the candy canes to further symbolize the life of Jesus, according to the legend.
Martinez’s horrible experience, which he will likely remember for the rest of his life, is just one of the latest attacks on Christianity which are increasing both inside and outside Common Core classrooms.
A few weeks ago, the administration of a middle school in Alabama banned students from singing Christmas songs at the school’s “holiday program.”
“Under new federal regulations handed down through the Common Core standards, all publicly funded schools are required to be compliant with ‘religious tolerance’ guidelines,” the notice sent to parents read. “As a result, all religious songs/activities will be EXCLUDED from this year’s event in order to remain inclusive to those who may not practice Christianity.”
As Kurt Nimmo reported last month, an advocacy group forced the U.S. Air Force to remove a Christmas nativity scene from a base in South Carolina.
Also, as an experiment, social analyst Mark Dice asked California beach goers this past summer if they would sign a petition to ban Christian symbols from public view.
Sure enough, many of them did.
Back in May, a high school track team in Texas was disqualified from competition because one of the runners made a gesture thanking God after he finished a race.
A month earlier it was revealed that a U.S. army training document referred to “Evangelical Christianity” and “Catholicism” as examples of “religious extremism.”
Last year, an elementary school in North Carolina ordered a six-year-old girl to remove the word “God” from a poem she wrote in honor of her grandparents.
“Political correctness is spreading like a cancer in this country,” noted blogger Michael Snyder said on the subject. “Our ‘freedom of religion’ is rapidly being transformed into a guarantee of ‘freedom from religion’ for those that hate the Christian faith.”
He also pointed out that there is a worldwide, systematic persecution of Christians happening right now.
“Very few Americans are even aware that it has been estimated that 100 million Christians are currently facing persecution and that approximately 100,000 Christians die for their faith each year,” he wrote. “Christians all over the world are being burned alive, beheaded, crucified, tortured to death and imprisoned in metal shipping containers just because of what they believe.”
“This persecution goes on year after year and it is steadily intensifying, but the governments of the western world and the mainstream media are almost entirely ignoring what is happening.”
